"Dylan, I visited many RUclips channels and watched a lot of videos to learn about my guitar. I even bought an AF-55 and thought that the neck setup would never hold, and I had started saving money to go to a luthier-until I saw your Les Paul setup video. Now, my AF-55 is in perfect condition. Thank you so much for your instructional videos. Greetings from Turkey!

Thanks for reminding me how to do this. The work is about what you taught us about annual maintenance. This and those maintenance videos are very helpful.

A good tip is if you come across a high fret like you did on the 3rd fret you need to keep in mind is when the rocker moves off the 3rd fret and you're checking the 5th fret, if it is high too, you may have a low 4th fret actually and will need to level the entire fretboard if you can't hammer them down

Love the series thank you for doing it. I’m going to be building my first parts caster here shortly.

Great video. The only thing that surprised me was that you're going to put an oil finish on the neck. I love oiled necks and if its the right wood, I like raw. My 20 year old Padauk neck is raw, has aged to a nice dark reddish brown and is so slick it actually looks like there is a finish on it.
Rock on and great video as always.

Is use a .004" feeler gauge at the bottom edge of the frets to see IF a Fret is not seated properly. The feeler gauge should not go under any of the frets.

Anyone try Nomad fret files? They seem cool. They have a huge set for 239.00. Stew mac are really $$$. Small files across the board are $$ though too. FML!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOL

ordered some today. what i've seen is they are ok for light/home use but maybe not so good for pros that need files every day.
