My portfolio, heavily weighted in laddered T-bills and bonds, has taken a hit. I'm concerned about further losses and unsure whether to rebalance, liquidate assets, or ride out the volatility. At 52, the stakes feel high, and I'm starting to feel insecure about my financial future.

Consider safe haven assets like gold (doing really well right now). If you lack extensive knowledge with the asset classes you are holding, review your retirement goals with a financial advisor.

That’s right! I agree with the reply above. Working with a fiduciary not just an advisor is crucial to navigating the volatile market. My portfolio is currently diversified $400K in stocks (tech, big Pharma and consumer goods) and $250K in alternatives (private equity, precious metals, cryptocurrencies), which has boomed significantly!

Could you recommend who you work with? I really could use some help at this moment.

Monica Mary Strigle is my fiduciary and is NY-based. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.

I'm always 100% invested. Peter Lynch model. On same wavelength as Daniel. I can always find something selling for value. As cash comes in, I allocate. When an incredible opportunity arrives, and I have no cash, I reallocate or rotate. Emergency Fund, otherwise, the rest of the cash is in, at all times.

As far as payment processors/tech companies go, it's a winner takes most situation. Which is why mastercard and visa have been the winners for years.

Is there a metric in stockunlock that measures the reinvestment rate of the companies? Something like what percentage of the profits in the last 5-10years were reinvested into the company's operation.

I am much more conservative than you guys. Most of the stocks I bought have doubled and I think stocks are very expensive. I pick a few here and a few there but as you say price matters. Of course I have seen stocks go up for years and everyone was saying when will it stop, so.

Hi , I see management ownership of stock is not currently included as a metric in Insights/Management category on StockUnlock. Is it possible to add that ? That way it will be included in overall insights score of the company, which will be aligned to your definition of good management, Daniel.

We are working on this but getting the perfect data around these metrics that we can trust for "all management" is proving a bit challenging. We won't give up though!

We have debated doing a crowdfund raise but our partners are advising us against it as it can be a headache for founders to manage expectations of 100s of investors.
I honestly want to do it but we would have to set some ground rules 😅

Going public would be massive! A buyout is more realistic for us but anything can happen 👀

Hello, guys. Thank you for another great video. There is something off with Portfolio construction that I would like to bring to you. My personal portfolio had a 15% drop in the beginning of July (PARTIALLY recovered in the next day or two), despite the fact that my portfolio is diversified, and no stock had a large fluctuation in price.
