I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

I'm up 16% on my indian ETF. I personally believe it will grow more than China over the next years. That being said, you must be aware that due to national hype Indian stocks are very expensive (actual average P/E is even higher than s&p, lol.) Also frauds in accounting are realtively common. This is why I wouldn't venture into stock picking but rather stay in ETFs.

I'm always 100% invested. Peter Lynch model. On same wavelength as Daniel. I can always find something selling for value. As cash comes in, I allocate. When an incredible opportunity arrives, and I have no cash, I reallocate or rotate. Emergency Fund, otherwise, the rest of the cash is in, at all times.

My portfolio, heavily weighted in laddered T-bills and bonds, has taken a hit. I'm concerned about further losses and unsure whether to rebalance, liquidate assets, or ride out the volatility. At 52, the stakes feel high, and I'm starting to feel insecure about my financial future.

As far as payment processors/tech companies go, it's a winner takes most situation. Which is why mastercard and visa have been the winners for years.

Is there a metric in stockunlock that measures the reinvestment rate of the companies? Something like what percentage of the profits in the last 5-10years were reinvested into the company's operation.

I am much more conservative than you guys. Most of the stocks I bought have doubled and I think stocks are very expensive. I pick a few here and a few there but as you say price matters. Of course I have seen stocks go up for years and everyone was saying when will it stop, so.

Hello, guys. Thank you for another great video. There is something off with Portfolio construction that I would like to bring to you. My personal portfolio had a 15% drop in the beginning of July (PARTIALLY recovered in the next day or two), despite the fact that my portfolio is diversified, and no stock had a large fluctuation in price.

I just started investing in Indian ETFs about a month ago. I wasnt gonna tell anyone so that I can grow my positions at lower prices before too many people see the opportunity

I'm personally not one for considering diversification. I have 5 positions and I know them well.

Lol I think we are overestimating the intelligence level of a five-year-old. And I’m not sure if Daniel isn’t being a bit polite in agreeing with Jake on that one! I have heard “you should be able to explain the business to a 12-year-old“, which seems a more reasonable age.

With regards to price alerts…that would be a good feature, but a more unique (and more valuable feature) is if you could add price alerts on price ratios….meaning…notify me when GOOG reaches a 20x P/FCF
