Very informative video, Pranab and you are spot on with the issues mentioned. I am the owner of Kiger RXZ Manual Turbo variant taken recently from Renault, Silk Board branch, Bangalore and I have exactly the same issues that you mentioned. I have even written to Renault India about this issue and the probability of the under door panels getting rusted. They are yet to provide a permanent solution for this problem. It definitely seems to be a design issue as you have rightly pointed out and I beleive Renault needs to address this at the earliest.
I booked Kiger RXT and ll deliver by Mar 2022 , asked dealer about this mud issue which I seen in videos but they confirmed that Renault addressed that issue and it would be resolved in 2022 models.
Renault has recently launched new facelift versions of Kiger in May 2022. They have added many new features in top RXZ variant. Hope you'll get the new version and not the old one. The mud problem is fixed in the new version. They have added the plastic packing so that mud does not enter the back lights.
I own a Kiger. The car has not been thro rain water or slush. However if this happens in all Kigers then it's a very sad commentary on Renault as a company. By the way good video in terms of exposing such major defects. Keep it up.

Absolutely right problem pointed Pranab,On my complaint, company given a foam packing for me as a first cut solution,but in my opinion it's not a final solution,it must be a proper fender liner,as shown in Chennai service center video as a part of your video. I think as a brand and CRM and design team of Renault should come with proper solution to all kigers delivered through a product recall cycle before the issues from all users get accumulated to react , as it was a pure mistake on design side.
They are keeping us in dark....actually this is not at all a problem....simply bcoz of cost cutting they hv not installed the under wheel cover....when u check in every other car u will find it in all cars

This is informative. Just today I had taken a test drive of RXZ Turbo manual as well as CVT and am considering it. Still need to test drive Nexon and XUV 300 but this is a negative for Renault. Not only you will have body rusting but if exit is blocked, your bumper might get heavy eventually if lot of mud gets deposited inside and may not be able to hold that much weight and get damaged.
@@PranabSharma and for all readers, this issue has been resolved as per Renault since October and the car comes with packing over the rear wheel. I verified it and did see it covered. Only people who own Kiger with this problem can confirm if this factory solution would be good enough but atleast Renault has tried to rectify from their end.

Blocking the wheel arch is a better option compared to using the sealant in the long run, so as to prevent rusting, as you have rightly pointed out. Better to get it done by Renault service itself, so that the warranty is not affected. Likewise, they can also fit some kind of beading/gasket on the door to prevent mud from entering through the gap. Hopefully both these can also help in reducing the road noise experienced in the cabin
It was very informative. I own RXE version. Having same problem at all doors. But haven't checked back side of car. Mud is dripping below reflectors but i haven't any mud through back light. First service coming next month. Thanks again....

Sir there is 1 more problem when u take car to muddy area or drive in rainy season. U will find lot of mud when you open any gate near foot rest. Its because there's no rubber bidding on the gates that may cause rusting in future

Hello Sir, Thanks for your videoes for information. I am looking to buy Kiger, but have one observation of driver side wiper. This wipers does not cover all portion of front glass during wiper operation, miss some area of glass from top side of driver. Please share you experiences sir.
Sir I have the same RXZ turbo cvt top model. From last few days, a message comes on digi console "check anti pollution system" with a warning amber colour sign. When it appeared first time, the car just couldn't raise beyond 10 kmph. Later I restarted and since then it's raising and working properly. But message still comes. What is the reason & solution? Absolutely 💯....even we hv a 11 yr old car which has a under wheel cover....perhaps renault forgot to put it under due to cost cutting

Yes, also due to the lack of Fender lining noise from the wheels traction on road gets into the vehicle and is very loud.
