This is fucking amazing guys!!! I've been into Norwegian BM for over 20 years and I've rarely come across such a well balanced modern recreation of the good old vibes. An absolutely stunning mix job with all the instruments given room, great FX on the vocals, you've nailed everything here, horns up!!!
I would rather say, if I was to choose an early second wave of black metal band from Norway, this is closer to Gorgoroth. Darkthrone never used too much dual guitar synergy, plus the bass lines are just lovely and they have their room in the mix unlike the unholy trinity of Darkthrone LPs.
This reworking of Valen is an absolute masterpiece.

This is some of the most dynamic sounding bass I've heard in Black Metal
Hail MORK🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Killer 🤘
Just PERFECT. Hail Thomas, hail Norway.
Quite a Fitting EP for These times
Very deep and dark sounds on this album 10/10
Valen (Burzum cover) - потрясающий кавер. Переслушиваю уже раз шестой. Да и в целом альбом отличный.
This is very close to the old Darkthrone style. I love this

@@Goryptor The bass on Darkthrone's albums plays its part and suits the style
@@liammews2375 Of course it does, I was on about the prominence in the mix and the attempt not to stick to the root notes...
