Wozniak is brilliant. He's kind of the color brown embodied as a human being... but the hilarious version of that. It's hard to explain.

I wasn't incredibly sure about him starting off, but the moment he did what he did in the balloon task in episode 2 I knew he was going to be amazing, and he only grew better and better as the series went on. Easily in my top 3 contestants.
It was the Segway task for me. Immediately a hero.

As soon as you introduced the Baddiel award I just knew this season’s was gonna go to Katherine’s ‘am I the spider’ nonsense and I’m so happy to be proven right 😂

I love how all this time later, there's still nobody that naturally calls it "X". lol
Because it makes no sense lol, grammatically, logically, marketwise, its just an arguably bad name lol
I've got to say, I'm glad you like Daisy because I was so afraid she was going to win and then happy she didn't, just because she annoyed me so much. I'm not a huge fan of Herring but I at least thought he was funny.
But we're all going to have a certain Series where we're disappointed at the winners, even though it's not all that competitive. For me, it was Liza, Kerry, and the winner of Series 15 that I was the most bummed about.
Herring may not of had the most memorable task attempts but I found him very enjoyable in CoC
And he's comedy royalty, so it's fine
Never understood the hate on richard the guys bush acting was spectacular! And he brought out the absolute worst of daisy which deserves points!

Richard and Ed go way back so they have a string friendship but they are just naturally analgesic towards each other. I recommend checking out Richard Herring’s episode of the off menu podcast where he’s interviewed by Ed and James scatter about his dream meal.

On s9 I commented that a future contestant was even worse than Baddiel. I was referring to Katherine, who is indeed statistically even worse than Baddiel lol

the moment of hers that for some reason absolutely broke me was when she asked Alex for the answer, and Alex says "they can hear you say that" omg that was just amazing lol
I have not lost any respect for me, I totally accept that she's useless at tasks and I still think she is gold
The finale often has some of the wildest tasks. (S16 has one of my favourite tasks ever in its last episode)

Season 11 is one of the best seasons! Great cast of people
Who else can’t WAIT for season 11?!? Adam, Season 11 is a new kind of awesome. It’s not a dumpster fire or all-out-war. It’s awkward, charming, and somehow wholesome. well-mannered frivolity with some genuinely strange ducks, all of them.
Gotta say this season was much more enjoyable on rewatch. It has flaws thanks to Covid and some weaker tasks, but great cast and banter.
But season 11 marks a new era. Taskmaster seems to really start hitting every episode out of the park.
Yeah I agree. It's definitely my least favourite series of the show, but I've enjoyed it a lot more than when I first watched it. I think it might be Adam having to cut bits out that made it more digestable for me.
Either my memory is bad or I have never seen you so excited and invested in a finale … it was big fun to watch!

Mawaan really didn't make friends on this show, did he? Perfectly happy to throw others under the bus. The cat was brilliant, as was his angling to get more points for the singing, even though it didn't work for him. So cheeky. I definitely had a crush on him.
The next 4 seasons are just great fun with a great set of characters. I am so excited that you are still reacting to Taskmaster because I cannot wait for you to experience my favorite season.
Richard is possibly my least favourite winner, which is kind of a shame.

Don’t know if you’ve watched es the interviews yet, but Sarah Kendall is amongst the few Aussie comedians that have appeared in the OG Taskmaster
I always remember someone saying that watching Richard Herring on Taskmaster was like watching a random man off the street on Taskmaster. I didn’t dislike him at all, but he was so route one that his attempts weren’t that fun. My gal Katherine though. Totally shit but in an endearing way.
Champion of Champions 2 next? And series 11 is one of my favourites because of one of the contestants. Up there with series 9 for me.

Funny how you loved DMC, you honed in on her straight away. I couldn't stand her, one of the very few contestant over the whole series that annoyed me. But thats the beauty of TM, you'll always root for someone. The next 3 series are all covid period and have some great tasks / contestants.
I feel SO bad for Katherine this episode with how Greg trashed her masks, she looks so genuinely hurt but is trying to put on a brave face. But what did Richard do to deserve the "I want you to win Daisy" in the final task? Or am I reading too much into things like a lunatic?

uk series 11 will be great, but Australia season 2 its awesome, they really do a lot of twists in tasks and the finale its amazing.
I liked all the contents, there was a lot of laughter. Richard Herring was solid all the way through, I loved Daisy a lot, but part of me was glad she didn’t win after her dreadful tantrum a few episodes back.
Been waiting for this prize task for a while. Glad your collection was actually fitting the task, was half expecting you jokingly not to use it though. As a man who married a Scottish woman, I was not able to admit in public that I cannot stand the taste of Irn-Bru.
To draw a line on tax cheaters is a GREAT line to draw. At least here, where we still believe in national health service, national education system... (I'm from Spain, btw).

Commiserations! But I’m so excited for you to see series 11. Watching it back during the pandemic I remember it being a real mental health pick me up. Lots of fun tasks and well… I hope you enjoy Wozniak as much as we did!

I'm looking forward to S11 a lot. I do think it was hindered a bit by a lack of a live audience but I really love the line-up so it saves it for me.
Also, also, surprised you haven't heard about Sarah Kendall, since she will be the first ever AUSSIE to be on the UK Taskmaster! ;-)
Daisy's been my least favourite contestant on taskmaster. She was fine on her own but her aggression towards Richard just went a bit too far for me. It didn't feel like it was in jest but just pure bile. If it had been reversed Richard would quite rightly have been slammed for it.

For me personally, not just because they're more recent, I genuinely think 11-15 is probably the peak of this show, particularly 13-15.

I was so devastated when Daisy lost! For me, Richard has been the only contestant on all 16 series that I just didn’t like/ find funny. Think you will love Season 11!
The Horne Section have a couple of great songs to check out, ‘Grandaddy’ and ‘Less Is More’ are hilarious, also them playing the instruments for Greg’s song ‘my nan your nan’ at the royal variety show is great.
Thought I’d recommend them as the karaoke song was so meh. 😂
I didnt fully notice Katherine's Kate Bush vocals the first time around lol, but your right, the song was a terrible choice

If you like Ed Gamble on the Taskmaster podcast, you might like the podcast he has with James Acaster called Off Menu where they have different comedians on and talk about what their perfect meal would be. They've had Greg on as well as other people from TM. Little snippet from Greg's: he wants a whole jar of pesto as part of his.

@@AdamfromFWCI It's a creamy sauce made with heavy cream, beef stock, worcestershire sauce, peppercorns, butter, shallots, some people put brandy in it. I'm in the US and I've never seen it here, but I recently visited the UK and it was on a menu in the lake district. I immediately thought of Greg's bit in that comedy special and knew I had to try it with my steak lol

ETA: I also won’t even listen to her episodes of the podcast. She literally tells the same anecdote every single time.
Series 1 of Taskmaster New Zeeland started to air just 1 week after Series 10 of the UK one started, so if you want to keep up in chronological order then it would make most sense to get that over with now.
Also, before Series 11 of the UK there is the first ever New Year Special. ;-)

@@JBLoveSav Sure, but it's a niche show for comedy nerds, that rarely gets more than 50,000 views on YT, and it's not really about promoting things. So I think they mostly do it because they think it's fun.
