We have the Cuisinart model for +/- 2 years. In terms of cooking densities, it must be adjusted regularly. Too dark or too light.
And its biggest weak point is at the level of the lever to take out the toast without running the risk of burning your fingers. You have to place your fingers on the top which is hot because the levers are very hard. Because if you don't hold the top, the entire toaster lifts off the counter. Imagine a child who burns his fingers or a person suffering from arthritis. Good looking only.

I HATE our Cuisinart toaster . It has never toasted BOTH sides of a slice evenly! But then Cuisinart is mediocre in most of its other products. jus' sayin'
