3060 Ti was a solid choice as an "upper entry level" gaming card, IMO. 4060 and 4060 Ti are overpriced and underpowered. 4060 Ti 16GB is borderline silly - who needs 16 GB of VRAM on a card that's not particularly fast and only has a 128-bit memory-bus? You'll probably run into chip-limitations before you run into VRAM-limitations. 4060 = slower than 3060 Ti 4060 Ti 8 and 16Gb = both slower than 3070. Soo... if you can do without the updated Nvidia-tech of 40xx, might as well look for a good deal on a 2nd hand 3070 or 3070 Ti. Just for comparison: Memory bandwidth on the 4060 Ti = 288 GB/s, 3070 = 448 GB/s. Writing this in October 2024, I'd naturally advise to not purchase any GPU at the moment and wait for Nvidia and AMD next-gen cards, but if I had to choose, I'd ignore both these cards (and the 4060 Ti 16GB) and either go 2nd hand 30xx (as mentioned) or spend the extra 100, 120 bucks on the 4070. Yes: it "only" has 12 GB but unless you have a very specific need for more VRAM than that, the card delivers the kind of performance I would expect from a mid-/upper mid-tier gaming card. Plus its price has dropped since the introduction of the Super-cards and is now a little less outrageous. Kinda funny how Nvidia have shifted tiers and price points in their favor and now the friggin xx70s are almost mid-tier and basically what the xx60-cards used to be.
Honestly I wouldn't suggest buying a card until later on in the year for heavy discounts before the new cards release for next gen. Otherwise just buy a temporary used card for a couple hundred dollars and wait until than.

But surprisingly, this year there are some nice budget 4K options out there as well. I'm currently using a $380 32-inch 144Hz VA MSI G321CU monitor. It even has USB-C port for display connection with 15W power delivery for a laptop. Works great because I switch between my desktop PC and MacBook Air all the time. That's a lot of features for such a modest price.
is it really $400 USD for a 4060ti over there??? i have one on the way right now and i payed $550 aud (337.55 Euro, 366.46 USD) for it
The Gaming X are even more expensive, the 3-fan version can cost $550, last Christmas it cost me $500 for the 2-fan version of the MSI 4060 ti Gaming X full RGB
Thank you for this nice video, Some questions I have , if you can please tell me, What software you are using for testing and do you have a video to compare RX6900xt and Nvidia 3080 for Graphic design or performance in Game? ty indeed
Thanks!☺️ I use CapFrameX. It's the best. 6900 XT vs 3080 = unfortunately I don't have that and I've never touched these graphics cards so can't give you a good recommendation based on personal experience.
the rog strix 4060ti 16gb is by far the BEST performing 4060ti gpu atleast imp mine is currently not stock and its slightly oced and optimizations have been made cpu paired is a 5800x3d and 32gb 3000mhz gskill ram CL16
Ram sweet spot is 3200mhz or 3600mhz 💪
That gpu is heavily overpriced though it retails for $559 when i can just get the MSI for $449. Asus charging you extra for aesthetics
@@efrainSRT in Canada its extremely expensive tryna get gpus but i got lucky 💀
As long as they keep pushing driver support the arc a770 is the best bang for buck at the 300 price point.
On the case of the 4060 I wouldn’t bother with the ti. You either go for the 4070 super or wait till next year when NVIDIA releases an entry level 50 series card.
It is wild how unpopular Intel GPUs are. I wonder how long it'll take them to shake the bad image they've earned. AMD is still battling with "AMD has bad drivers" stigma years later.🙂 Even though AMD's drivers are fine now.
@@theivadim my main reason to not buy an arc a770 is that the idle power draw is too high for me as electricity and summer heat are a bad combo here. I also want to play older games and Intel isn't prioritizing those older games from 2010s.
Almost £400 for an 8GB GPU is nuts though...
You're better off going with a 7700 XT for that price or even a 6800. I have 6750 XT, only cost me £300.
You have RX 6750 XT 12GB and ray tracing performance at frog's knee.
thats so sad damn , i could get a 4060 cheaper 50 usd than 7600 xt
hello Vadim what you think better to buy msi gaming X trio or gaming x slim 4060ti both 3x fan
Hi! I don't think you'll notice any difference. Both coolers are good. I'd pick the cheaper one.
Thanks for this video, helped me decide.
Glad to hear it!
Even on a 16 GB card does it still load assets to the dram or is everything kept on vram?
16GB is a good amount of video memory to have. I've not had any issues in any games while using a 16GB card even at 4K.
Hi, what case is that? I really like it
Cyberpower PRISM. I couldn't find it sold separately. I think it's an exclusive.
i'm using Nvidia 1060 right now, should i wait for 5060 or quick grab 4060? But how much will it be for 5060?
You should wait, RTX 4060 now can barely play at 1080p high setting in game
@@marci9717 whats your expectation on RTX5060, because i was suppose to buy Zotac 4060. Its cheaper than the other brands. Anyway, thanks for reply.
I have rx 6700 xt and 1440p ultrawide monitor, i will buy rtx 4060ti 16gb because i need dlss 3 and frame generation
buy asap, i want to know wht u feel after replace ur gpu
So with the rx 6700xt amds frame generation doesn't work? Strange.
@@mluthfanfaohani just got my 16 GB rtx 4060 TI. dont listen to all the hate. its a great card. im using a 1440p monitor and all games ive been playing has been maxed settinggs. no problems no lag no stuttering. i got mine from pny. it might be a "golden" card but i have no problems at all. i also have a am5 mobo and cpu
@nasyaramadhana6788
how long did you had the 6700 xt and how was it?
i'm lookin to buy a gpu
Yeah the only problem is if your upgrading to the RTX 4060 Ti 16gb version your paying like 200 bucks more.
Get AMD Rx 7800xt for the same money of 4060ti or Rx 6750xt instead of Rtx 4060
I have 6750 XT, best £300 card imo....7800 XT more expensive than 4060 Ti 8GB but 7700 XT is the same price and has 12GB vram & is a better option, 8GB vram on a £400 card is insane!
RTX 4060 Ti 8Gb vs RX 7800 XT please! 😃😃😃
4060 = slower than 3060 Ti
4060 Ti 8 and 16Gb = both slower than 3070.
Soo... if you can do without the updated Nvidia-tech of 40xx, might as well look for a good deal on a 2nd hand 3070 or 3070 Ti.
Wow I love your channel! amazing content love the camera angle in 1Person
I appreciate your kind words🙂 I'm glad you're enjoying the videos.
here in my country
$330 - 4060
$475 - 4060ti
I would rather save the money to upgrade to an ultra wide monitor
I think i don't recommending anything bellow of a RTX 4070 / 4070 Super in 2024 and beyond.
Honestly I wouldn't suggest buying a card until later on in the year for heavy discounts before the new cards release for next gen.
Otherwise just buy a temporary used card for a couple hundred dollars and wait until than.
Indeed, it is difficult to recommend these 60-class cards knowing that it's highly likely that they'll be obsolete in 1-2 years.
@@jasonvors1922
I'm upgrading from gtx 780. 4060ti is easily the best gpu at that price point. I can't spend anymore to get the 4070 like I would, and the 3070 is more expensive then the 4060ti also. Already waited a long to time buy a new PC. Not everyone can just keep waiting and it would be pointless to buy a temporary card rn then go through the hassle of reselling it and getting a new card in a few months... The 4060ti will last me 8 years just like the gtx 780 did.
@@SneakyBarkerThe 4060 Ti 8GB won’t last you 8 years. The 16GB variant would last you a lot longer than the 8GB version but then you’re getting close to the 4070 price. I’d save a few more months and go for a 4070 or 4070 Super. My daughter has a 3070 (2-3% faster than a 4060 Ti) and it plays everything at 1440p fine bar Fortnite where she runs that at 1080p to keep at a constant 120fps). It uses on average 6-7GB VRAM so not long left before it runs out. My son has the 4070 and that runs every game on high/ultra 1440p with ease. Problem you’ll get though is the better the card you get the better the CPU you will need. Minimum you want a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X/5700X or an Intel i5-12400F/12600K if you’re going on a DDR4 budget build.
@@papalazarou7880 i have an 15 14400 and 4060ti. It should last me 5 years before I need to upgrade hopefully. Atm I only play games on 1080p so I thought a 4070 would of just been complete overkill for me. If I was playing on 1440p I would of definitely spent the extra money to get a 4070. In 5 years time I'll be able to get a better gpu than a 4070 for the same price I would of paid for one now, and it would actually be needed. Whereas I don't need one now.
390 $ ? OMG. Here, same card is 530 EU. So if i can found tht price, i deffinitly buy it. Dont be arrogant, be happy of your price.
Anything below 4070 super/7900 GRE is pointless these days. Upscaling at 1080p is dumb. That's my take.
too expensive 4060ti is easily good enough will last me 5+ years, and if it starts not being able to run
games properly i'll sell the card and upgrade to a better one when the prices are a lot better
The problem is, new GPU releases too fast, should be every 5-6 years because the real consumers buy GPU or PC is not every year, we use PC at least 6-8 years even for 10 years.
I will stay with RX 6600 or I can just change to 3060 12GB if I need a higher VRAM.
Sure. Let's reduce the pace of all other technology improvements and innovations while we're at it.
We're free to buy new or upgrade whenever it makes sense for us. I think that's enough.
at the beginning of this video, you should say those interested in the answer go to the conclusion, thtat's what I did. Thanks.
Meanwhile Boris next door: "Vadim blyat!"
1 . 4060 is not for playing the latest and greatest games . 4060 is medium - high gaming . best used at 1080p .
2 . 4060ti si better than 4060 . it has extra 20 fps and the extra 20 fps allow you to play all games at minimum 60 fps .
3 . 4060ti has no competition on power consumtion and new technology . 150w vs 250w Radeon/ Intel . 100w less = 100 dollars .
One fan cards are tiny haha
Even 4060 is overkill for games 😮
I love your accent
Nice🙂

I wouldn't suggest buying a new rx 6700xt when you can buy the rx 6750xt new for around the same price for a superior card.
