Very well done. May I find shelter from the destructive forces as I dwell and settle close to the One who is capable of great destruction and calamity but for me He is a protector as I come to Him for refuge and acknowledge Him as the Most High God. I direct the passion of my heart toward Him and I am resolute to stay under His care. The roars of the devil are not my concern. I am protected here. I will see Yeshua. I will make it to The City of God one day.
My grandmother's favorite verse. In which she pass down to my mother and then to me. Hopefully, my kids will love this verses, too. Thank you, so kind of you.
Hello. It's five months on but, Just in case : Look for something called CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE on line. They do a course in Biblical Hebrew. I'm doing it now (in England). It costs about Thirty (British) pounds (£30) and, for a further £30 you can get hard-copy stuff. A certificate is awarded at the end (I think. Who cares? I just want to learn the language) 🙂 Hope this is of use if you haven't already found something. Shalom. (See? It works!)
Shalom! Thank you sooo much for the hebrew lesson. Yes, I see the yod shin ayin....that is the root for Yod Hay Vav Shin Ayin: YAH SHUA: Destroyer Watches Rescues with His Mighty Right Hand! Shalom!
May The LORD bless all that you put your hands to... And may it all be for His Glory and Honor in Christ Jesus's Name The Lord Jesus Christ has delivered me from drug addiction, homelessness, abusive relationships, evil spirits (yes they're real) , sexual immorality, swearing, lying, stealing, laziness.. and even more. I give all the glory to Him. All praise and worship belong to God. He is real. He is bigger than any problem you face. He will meet you where you are at. Even right now. (Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Currently I'm experiencing a demonic attack. But I am standing on The Word of God which says I have authority over devils and we are commanded by Christ Jesus to drive/cast them out. So I'm will continue to drive them out in The Name of Jesus Christ. Friends I implore you to do the same. The devil doesn't want us thinking it's real. We have authority over it! All of them. Keep strong in The Lord. Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of God The Father. I bless every reader of this comment in The Name of Jesus Christ
Brother PRAISE THE L-RD. I have one doubt about Isaac and Ismail. Some half-knowledged persons debating that Avraham had taken Ismael to sacrifice. And also Ismael was described as young one at the age of 14 when his mother far away from avraham. Muslims telling that the youngest one is Issac bcoz how can a lady lifted up her 14 year old son and thrown him away. Please clarify me brother.
The text doesn't say she carried him in her arms as a woman would carry a small child. In v.15, it says she cast him down.. which means he was no longer able to walk on his own, and she let him down under the bush. Or perhaps she did carry him "piggy back" for short time then cast him down because she no longer could. 14 year old boys can still be weak and tired after long journey in sun, without water. She perhaps had the strength, being used to do work as a servant.
Thank you brother. But I have one more doubt about this brother. Muslims told that in Genesis Issac is described as young one (when) Avraham had sent Sarah and his son (telling lies). (According to muslims they are lying that Sarah was sent away by Avraham.) Please clarify me brother. Todah rabah.

Eli, Eli, lama azavthani (אֵלִי אֵלִי לָמָה עֲזַבְתָּנִי) is what the Hebrew Bible says. Sabachthani is the equivalent word in both Mishnaic Hebrew as well as Aramaic. The word "Eli" means "My God". But with alternate vowels, it can take multiple meanings, such as "to me", "lament", "to/ for". But "lama" means why. This word is even used today in Israel. I can't see how one could conclude it means "For this I have been spared". Can you provide the reference from where you gathered this?

@@samueldaviddavidsamuel2299 there is nothing to clarify. They have a different story in the Quran that doesn't agree with the Bible.

Bible should be read in Hebrew. That is word of God. Translation is man made. Just know the meaning.
God wants the Bible to be understood by the Gentiles. Translations are good. Study the Hebrew also.
