Hi , Desperate question on your Paxton video , we have setup a Api but.. Setup a way of syncing our cards and people into paxton, with access levels. Keep this up-to-date every 5 minutes or so for when we issue new cards We can't use the CSV import, as it can't be automated. Also - we may have another solution using triggers inside of Net2. Is it possible to pass information to an .exe file in a trigger with Net2? For example the door ID and the token being swiped..?
Strange, I can't get this screen through a browser but I can with the nokia mobile app. Any ideas? Through the browser its a dumbed down version with no admin settings.
Hi, same here. I called tech support for my ISP and they told there's a second admin account built into the Beacon2, named "superadmin" with a random generated password. Once he gave me the password I was able to change every setting that was initially greyed out. hope this helps even if it's a few weeks late.
Hello please I need help, my nokia wifi app always give me an error when login into the app. It says "CONNECT TO NOKIA WIFI NETWORK" even though its connected already and I can't change the password of the router through the app, also I tried using the web admin but the domain I can see in your video isn't working for mine. Please has anyone had this issues and how did you fix yours? 😢
Hi, can you help, im trying to use this as a wifi extender, so o can plug my pc into the lan port, can i setup wirelessly, with one device without using at ethernet port to connect
I believe for it to become a mesh node you have to plug it into the main Nokia router for it to negotiate / adopt. The Nokia app might allow you to adopt it wirelessly.
@@freename tried that, the minute I disconnect the Lan it's stops working, I don't see the point of the beacon then, plug next to the hub to turn it into a hub? How is it a product, I assumed it was a WiFi repeater etc
@@gamerblackops It is a wireless mesh device if used with a compatible Nokia main router. You don't need a network cable to run to it once it is adopted. What router do you have? And have you tried the "Nokia WiFi" app to see if it reports the Beacon as adopted and part of the mesh?
@@freename I don't have the Nokia router, I have the one that came with my isp, Vodafone, it won't connect at all wirelessly, don't think I can use the Nokia one as my isp would block anything that wasn't their hub
@gamerblackops @gamerblackops It only works with other Nokia stuff. Same with things like the Netgear Orbi and tplink deco. They only talk to their own brand equipment.
10:58 - untick the Enable on the 2.4GHz.. this will leave just 5GHz wifi working.. note that any terrible or low cost devices which only have 2.4GHz WiFi will no longer be able to connect to your network! (Things like heating controllers or old Roku TV boxes etc.). (Also 5GHz is not the same as 5G. 5GHz is the frequency the higher speed WiFi transmits on. 5G is a cell phone technology. 5G is not used in the Nokia WiFi Beacon 2 as it is not a mobile broadband service with a SIM card.)
hi, what does it mean if the router constantly blinks White, without connecting to the network? Have tried multiple times to add it to the Nokia Wifi app but it does not appear at all. Thanks!

Hi, I cant change the pppoe in Network>WAN just like your showed in your video. Do u have any solution for that?
The ISP who supplied the router may have locked down the interface/settings. I don't know how you would solve that.

It is unable to host or connect to a VPN. You would need a different router or a second router doing your VPN.

The best option is to change your WiFi name and password and turn off the "WPS" button option on the router. Any other option is easy to bypass.

I have the same issue as well. It seems to be stuck in a boot sequence or a loop. I have factory reset it only for it to do the same.
