- Guillotine Dream have all it needs to satisfy the lovers of the Goth Rock music with hellish drums, desperate gloomy vocals, and intense guitar riffs. Influences from the Sisters of Mercy and the Fields of the Nephilim, can be spotted in the entire album.
This track slowly builds tension until it bursts out, under Mapk's drumming warfare. Its raw production enhances the gothic atmosphere of this album. Guitars sound as they are played live, providing a dirty sound, like a post-punk group. In some parts, Arc’s whispering vocals, drive you totally into darkness and desperation. An explosive combination of all the things we loved from the past and wished for the future.
