Her vocals convey pain, loneliness and guilt while describing loving someone who doesn't love you back (or doesn't even know you exist). I think you'll be blown away.
as a straight up rock band The Warning is my #1 band (#2 as my favorite band overall Band-Maid #1 overall). their sound i describe as a brand new familiar sound this song especially reminds me of Lita Ford but modern. and live these ladies are awesome their concerts rank up there in my top 2 shows i have gone to and i have been to alot of shows starting with KISS in 1979 up to TW last year

For Paulina, (Pau, pronounced POW) the drummer, I would recommend 23, Dust to Dust or Narcisista from the Teatro Metropolitan from August 2022. Now in the first two songs, she is singing and playing drums. On Narcisista, she is the frontwoman with a guest drummer. Depends on if you want to see her drumming while singing, or as a frontwoman singing and moving all over the stage. She is a firecracker on stage and it is quite fun to see.
I love Dany’s naughty grin after her opening vocal…it’s like she’s signaling the head exploding 🤯 experience that the band is getting ready to unleash on the listener…and I’m there for it!

Actually in the video I don’t believe Ale sings at all in that part. It’s Dany’s voice doubled an octave below at first and then an octave above the 2nd time in the background. Ale does that part live I believe because it would be extremely hard for Dany to come off a high belt and then go that low almost immediately.

If you want to hear Pau sing lead, I'd recommend either Dust to Dust, 23 or, for something that might shock you, Revenant - any of them from their 8/29/2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan. Or second verse of Disciple. Or her lyric video of Breathe (played at intermission at the Teatro Metropolitan concert). Or go back in time to The End or Black Holes. Or wait, her cover of Creep, which she learned in 3-4 hours as an Instagram challenge and played on the family's spinet piano! Oooooh, yeah, she's good!

I knew you would enjoy this, I do prefer the live version but the studio version is better visually. Carry on down The Warning rabbit hole, it’s so interesting to see how they got to where they are now. I would suggest that you take a look at the two songs that they sing in Spanish, Narcissista - Paulina’s answer to the critics who were annoyed with them singing in English, and Martirio - a lovely ballad about martyrdom and self love. 🌹

If you want to hear Pau sing while playing drums I would suggest Narcisista from the Foro Didi concert (edit as I named the wrong concert), or 23 from the Teatro concert. Other songs where she sings lead are Dust to Dust and The End, both from the Lunario concert, but those are also the first and last songs form their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, so if you want to check out the whole album in order you might want to wait on those. She and Danny alternate lead on Disciple, which you should check out the Teatro performance of. Another great song they alternate lead on is Survive, and my favorite performance of that was at their 2017 Tedx talk. You get three original songs from them, and get to hear them talk about writing their first album. They do interesting things structurally with many of their songs. They aren't afraid to try new things out. Looking forward to seeing more of your warning journey.
Red, welcome to The Warning Army and our numbers are growing quickly. Dany, Pau and Ale have brought real rock back into our lives. I am so very happy to have seen them 4 times already, 3 in small venues. No doubt in my mind, they will be filling stadiums very soon.
Great reaction! I agree these ladies are reviving rock without sounding too nostalgic. As you stated, they create a sound that is familiar but updated. Some people criticize The Warning because they don't follow the 1970s playbook for rock and have a gratuitous guitar solo in every song. I grew up listening to 70s rock and one of the things I didn't like, and still don't, are long, drawn out guitar solos or instrumental breaks. I prefer great vocals and guitar riffs, with a tasteful solo if it's appropriate for the song. If you want to hear Paulina (aka Pau, pronounced Pow) sing lead while drumming, I suggest "23" or "Dust to Dust" from the 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan, or "Narcisista" from the Foro Didi concert. If you want to hear her sing lead while playing no instruments, I suggest "Revenant" from the Teatro Metropolitan concert. The professionally shot videos are on The Warning's RUclips channel.

Another great reaction! As others have already said, there are a few choices to hear Pau sing lead. 23 and Revenant are both ballads with Revenant being an acoustic song. Dust to Dust is the prologue for their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene and is darker and heavier. My vote goes for Narcisista either at Foro DiDi in 2019 or at Teatro Metropolitan. I prefer suggesting the Foro DiDi one for a first listen/react, but her performance of the song at the Met is something really special as well! Pau Unleashed! Can't wait for your next reaction video!
This is the one that did it for me. Only the third song I’ve heard of them at that time. I felt like a deer caught in a car’s headlights as Dany’s eyes hooked me, then blew me out of my chair with that first blast wave! Then they just kept going stronger, louder, harder! Like there was no limit to Dany’s voice. Pau was just power unleashed, but throughout it all Ale was calm and grace personified. I was mesmerized by the difference and combination of all three. I keep saying, I dove head first into the rabbit hole. That part of the song you pointed out, the ‘change’ where you were waving your hand gracefully, Ale does that part live on stage. Chills! I went back and listened to the first two songs I heard of them with renewed senses, like being able to ‘hear’ music again. To see Pau do the impossible, sing while drumming like a beast, check out DUST TO DUST at the Lunario first. Then NARCISISTA in Monterrey Vivo en Foro. By the time they do the song at the Teatro later on, Pau was more relaxed with Dust to Dust (which is not a bad thing!) and she was singing free from the drums with Narcisista as the front woman (Again, not a bad thing. Actually, Awesome!)
Fair warning, Red. I hope you're prepared for when your favorite drummer girl sings lead. She has a tendency to reach into your heart and soul and tug at them. She's made grown men cry. Look around. There are supercuts of Pau's vocals doing precisely that. 😁 In my opinion, there's a small group of reactors to The Warning that truly grasp and love what they're seeing in these ladies. When this first came out Dany's vocals blew me away. Since then I've watched them perform it live and she kills the vocals every time. The live versions also show where Pau and Ale sing which is not shown in the MV. Dust to Dust or 23 at Teatro Met are songs where Pau takes the lead vocals and are great songs. Anything from this show is worth a watch. Thank you for continuing with TW every song at this show is awesome. 🤘⚡🔥 Side note did you notice Pau's shirt is lined with safety pins? Being a Patreon member I got to see this before it went out officially. We were still in the throes of the pandemic and tours were cancelled. I was at work and it was a rather large Apple Quicktime download. I didn't care, I downloaded it and played it as soon as I could. It was glorious, the first new music we got from DPA since the pandemic had started. It brought me to tears for sure.

@redheadedneighbor In their 1st album released in 2016, the girls wrote a song about domestic violence called Copper Bullets. Their parents were not in favour of releasing that song. But the girls were adamant. Give it a listen or react to it if possible. They were 16, 14 & 11 then.

Yeah, I'm 69 in July. I started following TW 2018. Turned my Mexican neighbors onto them. They played 2 songs in Charlotte, NC, 48 miles from me. They were shut down because of a terrible storm!!!! Pau won rock drummer of 2023!!!! I love these ladies.
This is genius. When I´m hearing this song, I am waiting for the harmonies, for the drum rolls, for the portions that makes this song so good. I love The fierce but yet playful look on Dany´s face. The cool look on them in the beginning. Dany starts off with some gentle singing and then BAM! All the way to the end, where they put their marker. "This is what we had to say, consider your self Warned!" The Warning deliver their statement, and we better listen, because they are going to say what they want to say. Outside looking in ! To me what is so extraordinary with The Warning besides their enormous talent and beyond them being beautiful young ladies is "where they came from"! Like Eminem being White and dominating the predominately Black Rap music scene. These ladies are from Monterrey, Mexico where music is dominated by Cartel driven Conjunto Bands that play for a commission fee (wink) or else or Mariachi Bands or Banda Music, where about 12 members seemingly try to play louder than each other, while someone with no voice sings along. The culture is 180 degrees different from our country, yet these ladies have exploded out from that launching pad and landed right here for us to take in and adopt them as our own. Their amazing talent is mind blowing, but to me, knowing where they came from and what they have accomplished is even more extraordinary Thank you Miss Scarlet !

I would suggest that you take a look at the two songs that they sing in Spanish, Narcissista - Paulina’s answer to the critics who were annoyed with them singing in English, and Martirio - a lovely ballad about martyrdom and self love. 🌹

If you want to hear Pau sing while playing drums I would suggest Narcisista from the Foro Didi concert (edit as I named the wrong concert), or 23 from the Teatro concert. Other songs where she sings lead are Dust to Dust and The End, both from the Lunario concert, but those are also the first and last songs form their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, so if you want to check out the whole album in order you might want to wait on those.
She and Danny alternate lead on Disciple, which you should check out the Teatro performance of.
Another great song they alternate lead on is Survive, and my favorite performance of that was at their 2017 Tedx talk. You get three original songs from them, and get to hear them talk about writing their first album.
They do interesting things structurally with many of their songs. They aren't afraid to try new things out.

Red, welcome to The Warning Army and our numbers are growing quickly. Dany, Pau and Ale have brought real rock back into our lives. I am so very happy to have seen them 4 times already, 3 in small venues. No doubt in my mind, they will be filling stadiums very soon.

Great reaction! I agree these ladies are reviving rock without sounding too nostalgic. As you stated, they create a sound that is familiar but updated. Some people criticize The Warning because they don't follow the 1970s playbook for rock and have a gratuitous guitar solo in every song. I grew up listening to 70s rock and one of the things I didn't like, and still don't, are long, drawn out guitar solos or instrumental breaks. I prefer great vocals and guitar riffs, with a tasteful solo if it's appropriate for the song. If you want to hear Paulina (aka Pau, pronounced Pow) sing lead while drumming, I suggest "23" or "Dust to Dust" from the 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan, or "Narcisista" from the Foro Didi concert. If you want to hear her sing lead while playing no instruments, I suggest "Revenant" from the Teatro Metropolitan concert. The professionally shot videos are on The Warning's RUclips channel.
I agree. An occasional solo is fine but it gets cliche.

My suggestion is you see Dust to Dust next...BUT maybe an older one? If you wanna see fierce I'd go with either Lunario or The Whisky a Gogo venues.

Another great reaction! As others have already said, there are a few choices to hear Pau sing lead. 23 and Revenant are both ballads with Revenant being an acoustic song. Dust to Dust is the prologue for their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene and is darker and heavier. My vote goes for Narcisista either at Foro DiDi in 2019 or at Teatro Metropolitan. I prefer suggesting the Foro DiDi one for a first listen/react, but her performance of the song at the Met is something really special as well! Pau Unleashed! Can't wait for your next reaction video!
This is the one that did it for me. Only the third song I’ve heard of them at that time. I felt like a deer caught in a car’s headlights as Dany’s eyes hooked me, then blew me out of my chair with that first blast wave! Then they just kept going stronger, louder, harder! Like there was no limit to Dany’s voice. Pau was just power unleashed, but throughout it all Ale was calm and grace personified. I was mesmerized by the difference and combination of all three. I keep saying, I dove head first into the rabbit hole. That part of the song you pointed out, the ‘change’ where you were waving your hand gracefully, Ale does that part live on stage. Chills! I went back and listened to the first two songs I heard of them with renewed senses, like being able to ‘hear’ music again. To see Pau do the impossible, sing while drumming like a beast, check out DUST TO DUST at the Lunario first. Then NARCISISTA in Monterrey Vivo en Foro. By the time they do the song at the Teatro later on, Pau was more relaxed with Dust to Dust (which is not a bad thing!) and she was singing free from the drums with Narcisista as the front woman (Again, not a bad thing. Actually, Awesome!)

Fair warning, Red. I hope you're prepared for when your favorite drummer girl sings lead. She has a tendency to reach into your heart and soul and tug at them. She's made grown men cry. Look around. There are supercuts of Pau's vocals doing precisely that. 😁 In my opinion, there's a small group of reactors to The Warning that truly grasp and love what they're seeing in these ladies. I think I can count you among them, and I am SO here for it. 🤘😎

When this first came out Dany's vocals blew me away. Since then I've watched them perform it live and she kills the vocals every time. The live versions also show where Pau and Ale sing which is not shown in the MV. Dust to Dust or 23 at Teatro Met are songs where Pau takes the lead vocals and are great songs. Anything from this show is worth a watch. Thank you for continuing with TW every song at this show is awesome. 🤘⚡🔥

Being a Patreon member I got to see this before it went out officially. We were still in the throes of the pandemic and tours were cancelled. I was at work and it was a rather large Apple Quicktime download. I didn't care, I downloaded it and played it as soon as I could. It was glorious, the first new music we got from DPA since the pandemic had started. It brought me to tears for sure.

@redheadedneighbor In their 1st album released in 2016, the girls wrote a song about domestic violence called Copper Bullets. Their parents were not in favour of releasing that song. But the girls were adamant. Give it a listen or react to it if possible. They were 16, 14 & 11 then.

Good songs to see Pau singing and drumming are "Dust to Dust" or "23". They perform both live in their 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. They released that concert as a whole, but also as individual songs on their RUclips channel. Or, if you want to see Pau performing out from behind the drums, check out "Revenant" also from that same concert.

Yeah, I'm 69 in July. I started following TW 2018. Turned my Mexican neighbors onto them. They played 2 songs in Charlotte, NC, 48 miles from me. They were shut down because of a terrible storm!!!! Pau won rock drummer of 2023!!!! I love these ladies.

This is genius. When I´m hearing this song, I am waiting for the harmonies, for the drum rolls, for the portions that makes this song so good. I love The fierce but yet playful look on Dany´s face. The cool look on them in the beginning. Dany starts off with some gentle singing and then BAM! All the way to the end, where they put their marker. "This is what we had to say, consider your self Warned!" The Warning deliver their statement, and we better listen, because they are going to say what they want to say. I love The Warning, because they don´t make excuses. It´s Veni Vidi Vici!

To me what is so extraordinary with The Warning besides their enormous talent and beyond them being beautiful young ladies is "where they came from"!
Like Eminem being White and dominating the predominately Black Rap music scene.
These ladies are from Monterrey, Mexico where music is dominated by Cartel driven Conjunto Bands that play for a commission fee (wink) or else or Mariachi Bands or Banda Music, where about 12 members seemingly try to play louder than each other, while someone with no voice sings along. The culture is 180 degrees different from our country, yet these ladies have exploded out from that launching pad and landed right here for us to take in and adopt them as our own. Their amazing talent is mind blowing, but to me, knowing where they came from and what they have accomplished is even more extraordinary
