I’m having trouble with the ending of 2 samuel then the spirit of God directed me to your page. Thank you so much and may God bless you
Didn’t quite understand why David’s heart condemned him after he numbered the people. Thanks for clarifying, indeed numbers mean nothing when God’s power is a factor in a situation! ✝️
That's a good explanation of why this angered God. My question was, why in 2 Samuel 24 was God the one to incite David to conduct a census, but in 1 Chronicles, it was Satan. Also, why was God angry at David if he told him to conduct a census( 2 Samuel 24)?
Go look up 2 Samuel 24 in NASB version which is closest to Greek translation. This bothered me too until I saw my version pinned God as the one who told David to count. In actuality it was David who was incited to tell Joab to go and count.
Another book of the Bible finished. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks for all the summary work. They are helping a lot in this process.
I thought i was the only one that gets excited lol
Finished with the Books of Samuel ✅️

Such a good application. Happy birthday🎉🎂🥳🎊, I love you and I am so proud of you 🤍

In the beginning, it says God was angry with Israel and moved David to number them.

thank you
Oh let's go 2 Samuel 23 May the Lord bless you all
Ps. Is it your birthday? Happy birthday!!! 🎂 🥳 🎉
Didn’t God move him to take the census?
This is what I also don't understand. I could be misreading/misinterpreting it, but it seems like it says that, in which case his anger wouldn't make any sense
It confuses me, too, and I also asked a similar question. It appears that God's anger was aroused against Israel, so he had David do it, but I don't understand how David sinned, except in 1 Chronicles, it said Satan incited him.
Thank you so much sir!!
You are very welcome 😁
Yes, but are you sure of this explanation?
Also, how many... kids... did get, orphaned, that day.
Finally, who did incite David... and was it, a temptation...?@@2BeLikeChrist
Did God encourage David to take the census?
Thank you for the studies. Love all your applications. I just realize that i actually don't know your name despite having followed your bible study for more than 3 months now. I want to apologize if it seemed rude. Could you please share your name with me? 😉🙃🙃😉
I find it interesting that God gives David punishment to choose from; this or that. And both are awful. Yep, lean on God!
God bless
