- Sunny can't accept his sister, Maris death, so he tried to commit suicide
in the original game Sunny jumped off the hospital's building roof, but in this comic, Kel, Hero and Aubrey tried to stop him for that.

I feel like this makes it sadder.
Omori is in complete control, and even if sunny was still there, he’d be living with regret.

Best ending (?) : They stop Sunny from oyasumi..But little did they know Omoris the one controlling him in that scene-I mean they succeed 😅
Omori is not a seperate entity, but a coping mechanism in Sunny’s head to hide the trauma from him / protect him from the pain. I think in the bad ending it decided to kill Sunny/Itself becuase it decided the best way to not feel pain is not to be alive or something

@@skell6134 in this case, you could say he embraces that alter ego, in a way that he simply hides away his emotions fully for good, allowing him to commit the act without hesitation

Omori/Sunny then starts struggling against Aubrey's grip. In doing so, he accidentally fractures his spine. Aubrey, paralyzed by fear, involuntarily releases him.
When the nurse arrives, Aubrey is standing at the edge, looking down at the body of her friend. Tears spill down her cheeks, but she does not move till the nurse reaches out and touches her shoulder. In an instant she darts through the balcony's doorway. She rushes to Basil's room, where she sees Kel and Hero trying not to cry.
Basil's vitals are inexplicably failing. His hand stretches out in Aubrey's direction, then falls to his side. Aubrey runs toward him; he murmurs an apology before stiffening.
Having witnessed two deaths, both of which she failed to prevent, Aubrey succumbs to rage. She begins to seek out and kill the people she deems responsible for her suffering. Each of her victims glimpses the despair in her eyes as she strikes them with her infamous bat.
Ultimately, Kel and Hero attempt in vain to stop her spree. After beating them, she delivers the final blow... to herself. In her final moments, she imagines Sunny, Basil, Mari, Hero and Kel beckoning her into a group hug.
And that's what Sunny dreamed before waking up in his bed.

@@TotallyNotSunny. For those 2 who would take it as a joke, I know from experience that if, one way or another, they found out you were serious, they would be enraged at themselves for not seeing it coming. People do care, never lose sight of that.

well im guessing that sunny really isnt heavy due to him well you know barely eating and doing anything for 4 years straight- plus i guess aubrey's pretty strong

He probably weighs 80 pounds, maximum, most of that being bone. Wouldn't really be that hard imo

Tbh, if the bad ending was like this, but then sunny breaks free from Kel and falls to his death, that would be a LOT SADDER than the actual ending (Not that it isn't already sad)

@@bumbabees technically it's sunny fully giving in to his inner demons, his will to live and forgive himself is gone, he surrendered it to omori, the part of himself that won't let him live with the guilt and knowledge of the truth.
@theducheneaux In my opinion that's still sunny just his alter ego. It was still his decision overall because his mind is the one that chose who to side with.

The reactions seem wrong.
Like... they treat it like Sunny was doing tomfoolery, not trying to kill himself.
Plus, their reactions in the cut part of The Good Ending has them somewhat panicking from seeing Sunny at all.
Kel's reaction was fair imo.

The overall dialogue in the comic is odd, and he's not excluded.
Considering the panic related to saving Sunny, i would expect him to drag him onto the floor, thanks to panic.
Here, he enters a crisis and has to sputter out questions and promises, which while could happen, wouldn't be the first reaction, as it's more like something that happens once they dragged Sunny indoors.
He horribly contrasts with the uncaring nature of Aubrey and Hero, but he's better.
I guess we can see what character the artist was a fan of.
