Parents are our 1st teachers, my mom did and does the same. Yes, baby we loved and respected men in uniform. It could have been any uniform😜 letterman’s jacket, and all. 🎯Never settle 👏🏾👍🏾✌🏾
@@RichRootz Yes ma’am. I always credit my Mom as the ORIGINAL Creative Lady! She took all the pictures. Sewed clothes. Cooked. Wore a plastic bag from the grocery store on her hair to deep condition after shampooing in the 80s! When she locked eyes with my Dad again when he was on military leave, you best believe she had just picked up her heavily starched jeans from the cleaners with a pretty blouse she’d made from a Simplicity or McCall’s pattern! Natural press ‘n curl TIGHT! 🥰 I actually edited and uploaded the audio about my parents online. Check the description box. ♥️
Thanks for sharing your insights and GREAT life advice. Was touching what you shared about your parents - what traits you’ve inherited from and learned from them. - you are right WE need to capture these memories & have them always. My folks met at my father’s doctor office while both in college. My mom was working for summer there as student nurse 😂. Similar, to your description of your dad as a “talker and just like me”, from MY dad, I could always get more $, advice, and interesting stories. He told me the origin of my middle name (Mom gave me my first name, he named my middle name). To this day, only he ✝️ and I know☺️He said my mom never asked him how he came up with my very unusual middle name.
It was so fun to morph this random Target haul video into an episode of How I Met Your Mother and life advice, lol. I am so happy that you enjoyed the video and had the chance to reflect about your own parents. ♥ My Dad is definitely the talker so I got it honestly, lol. If I played that "secret audio" for my Mom, she'd probably give me the side eye. I'm going to edit the video at some point and bleep out certain parts but the story will still be relevant. Stay tuned!
Not fast and manish, lol. Tell me why I was watching this saying, girl take a sip of that soda 😆 Girl, yes my father was in airborne school, met my mama, knocked her up and then got orders and didn't know he had left my mama a gift, ME 😄 During the time I had with my father, I learned he was a talker; would tell the information for free. I want an electric car. I'm going to check Acura when they get to their 2nd generation electric car. I wanted a Tesla at one point, but I can't rock with Elon. I know there are companies where we don't know about the racism behind the owner, but he is blatant with his. I love, love , love my panoramic sunroof. How is your mom doing? After getting my Specialist and with the small increase we did get, my pay is going up $12,000. I just wish our district will give raises other than what the governor mandates (they used to but this superintendent we have is just focused on making his pockets fatter.
Girrllllll, I was so busy chatting, I let that soda "breathe" lol. I am so happy that my story popped in my head to share. My Mom had a major setback but she is better. It's still a journey to baseline recovery. Thanks for asking. I am glad you got the chance to meet your Dad. Elon's behavior is what changed my mind about wanting a TESLA too. That man could wake up one day and decide to shut them all off, lol. I also never shared my other apprehension about electric cars beyond potential power grid failures. I'll text you that story. Congratulations on the 12 STACKS girl! I'm going to see how long a can hang in there in the new school year. But girl, if it's anything like last year, one day, I'm going to lunch, and my hindparts ain't coming back to the building. Oh. I am working on a podcast. I think I was able to add my interview with my Dad but I'm not sure. I'll link it just in case it took, lol. rss.com/podcasts/thecreativelady
