That's my dawg! I've known him personally since he was 14 yrs old. He could've been a comedian. I've spent a lot of time and some years with him and the whole crew as the only female rapper in the group but I moved away from Tally and went to ATL. I knew from being in the home studio at his parent's home (he was a minor) but we all knew that he was gonna be a whole music mine. Like a diamond mine. He was born with the "IT" factor. I'm super proud of him. Much love to him and the whole Najm Family.
I love for these stories.. my young generation this will be us one day, growing up with some of the greatest or just being next to them before they blew up. But just knowing the reality of someone great coming into fruition is just one of the many things in life that’s pure. 🙏🏽

After Rapper Ternt Sanga, he shook the south. People acting like he wasn't a feature king(besides Lil Wayne) or songwriting king back in the mid 00's. Usher and Jay hated on him. To me, Pain had a bigger impact on the industry than Usher because Pain changed the game while Usher was just another singer with hits.

T Pain is a legend and he doesn't get enough flowers. He's some what weird and at times somewhat clumsy but I had so much fun watching this. He's one of the few artists that can say he was a super star and was always himself along the way. He doesn't have that "ultra cool" filter. He doesn't answer questions super political. He just does him and it makes him great.
