This is exactly what I meant. Normal difficulty shouldn't be the computer beating your ass like they are Expert difficulty. It's like they increase the AI difficulty after you win a race & if you fail to reach top 4, the CPU lowers the difficulty. They need to fix this issue, for 2.2
@@WillTheRedPanda people found out in the source code that when you distance the rival too much he gets: Better Items Odds , 2X Rings boost, boosted Max Speed, Better acceleration and its only when he go past you that he goes back to normal speed which is completely ridiculous
In the section like 1:58 , you can fill the boost gauge on the ground by drifting. And release it in the air, you'll get a quick drop with good amout of speed! I noticed this tech in my playthrough, so here for willing to share!
Dang, they did ya dirty on rumble ridge zone. That first to last was violent.

Yeah this is key yo being able to make tight turns and is way better than the fastfall drop thing that makes you bounce awkwardly
Retro and modern BGMs perfect fit for a fan-made Sonic racer.
Man... Opulence went thru quite the upgrade. I like it.
