As so much of progressive rock had faded away, APP hadn't changed much. This song's grooves had a stylus dragged through it quite a lot more than the others, though. My son was only a few months old, and this song took my imagination a half century into the future - when I'd be old and wise. 42 years went by in the blink of an eye, and this powerful song returns anew - at precisely the moment I needed it back. Dear friends, perhaps you have an Eye in the Sky. Thank you so much for this incredibly precious version. In every way imaginable, you breathe life into these versions! 🔥

I feel not just what the notes evoke or the words describe, I also feel the weight (or the lift) of the context of my life when the song embedded in my brain. It works the other way, as well. Simply ruminating on memories associated with songs will trigger the jukebox in my head. Annoyingly, however, it never plays whole songs - just gets stuck in short loops. It's actually only been a little over 41 years, but... Many things have changed recently, and I'm not sure how everything will land - I only know the plan :). My son has an integral role in that plan. This version came out of the blue, but the timing (for me) is incredible. It feels like reassurance. I'll tell you something else: the two of you don't just produce beautiful music; you are two extraordinarily beautiful people.
