I just recently got into Noumena. 'MYRRYS' is one of my new favorite CD/Albums. I have heard Noumena being compared to Insomnium, and Omnium Gatherum which is fair, but IMHO NOUMENA is far cooler, and much more interesting. Suvi Uura's vocals work perfectly with Antti Haapanen's vocal style. Very cool. Highly Recommended.

Now we are in the old but good Noumena genre, not like yyyyyber fast songs like Handfull of Dust song was, now its dark and melancholic and its perfect!!!
This is an absolutely beautiful and sentimental song. Looking like this will be one of the top albums for this year. Loving the choice to keep with Finnish as with Myrrys. Some of the lyrics just wouldn't sound the same in English.

Если я правильно понял, немалая часть альбома посвящена тематике трагизма войны, и русско-финской войны в частности. Это очень грустная и важная тема, кому как не русским знать. Надеюсь, вы приедете в Россию когда-нибудь, и мы обязательно поговорим об этом за кружкой пива.
If i correctly understood, lyrics are about war tragism, and Talvisota particularly. Its very sad but important thing, we know it very well here in Russia. I Hope you'll visit Russia someday, and we'll talk about it with beer and hugs)
Yes, something like that. It obviously deals with the traumas of WW2 in Finland, but it has a more global aspect. Wars cause both physical and emotional injuries, which cast their shadows over decades and generations. And in the meantime those traumas are fuel for debate over the history, past and things we want to remember. Especially I wanted to write about the shame of broken minds in the hell of battlefield. Only recently it has been the subject of history-writing and analysis, at least in Finland. Hence the name Murtuneet, the Broken. - Hannu / Noumena
