My favourite is Carol of the Bells
I love their current live version they did on their Christmas tour earlier this month. You can feel the maturity in their voices. And Mitch still stuns me with his amazing breath control!

Oh, Come All ye Faithful is AMAZING!
Avi's voice. There's something so....elemental about it. To me it's like walking along a deserted beach by the ocean and hearing/feeling that enormous sound of huge deep volumes of water echoing off the vast underground. His voice is simply one of a kind.
And I'm not talking about his being a bass, there's way more to it than that. There are all kinds of good basses out there. There are all kinds of deep melodious basses with wide ranges and lovely voices. I'm talking about the way his voice sounds. There's no comparison anywhere for sheer beauty.

I usually make the joke that this is the only song in the PTX catalog that I'm aware of where Kevin actually sings more solo lines than Kirstie does!
This was the first song where I ever heard Kevin sing solo, and it was such a happy surprise - not only getting to hear him, but how beautiful his voice is. It makes this song stand out even more for me.
Since you're a big Avi fan, I'll recommend Oh Come All Ye Faithful, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Silent Night.
Favorites are Little Drummer boy , and Come all ye Faithful . In these cases official videos please.
Everyone has a great voice but I find myself hearing Avi as well. The first noel and silent night (older one live in church) are two of my favorites.
You should react to the live version of Joyful, Joyful from the Evergreen experience. They closed last years Christmas shows with this song and it really shows how far they have come in 11 years.
Thank you for your reaction, Pentatonix singing Xmas carols is on another level. Please also react to Coventry Carol, it’s indescribably beautiful. No video, though, but in my opinion not necessary either, you’ll probably just want to close your eyes anyway to fully enjoy the arrangement and Avi’s voice.

There's always more to a PTX video than just the impressive musical acrobats they do; In the video, there are some some camera angles with Kirstin positioned in front of the cave opening and a bright light placed behind her that illuminates enough to make it appear as though she has a halo. The cool things they do; What an amazing group. Also a great reaction by you Carmen, keep up the good work! ❤✌❤

Really. "Wow" is a perfectly fine and understandable reaction to this amazing group of people. Wonderful reactions and take care all.
In the scheme of it, based on the number of PTX songs there are, there aren't that many where Kevin blesses us with his singing (by which I mean solo/lead or is easily distinguished from the rest, as in Imagine during the wall of sound), it's just that people have recommended all the ones he does sing on. And actually, I would probably say, many of the more popular songs have him singing on. Of the top 10 I most commonly see requested, I think he sings a solo/lead on about half (and I think you've reacted to them all). Which doesn't sound like much, but we can probably count on both hands the songs he does sing on (not including his rapping).
If you want to hear him rap & beatbox at the same time then "As Long As You Love Me/Wide Awake" is a treat. It's a very early mash up, but well worth a watch.

Their new video and Christmas album they just released is so incredible in showing how much they've grown. I especially love their song and video for, "Prayers for this World " it's off their new (Holidays around the World) album.

There are recent live videos of this, too! All videos of Carol of the Bells are amazing! They perform it in actual Madrigal style which is very rare unless you are a "choir nerd". 😊

Acappella is my first choice regardless of who the artist(s) is/are! I'd love to see your reaction to this song as done by the 11 member group "Voctave" which is in black/white with the person who wrote the words, Mark Lowrey. The music was composed by his friend, Buddy Green who is not in that video. 💕

I'm an atheist and still am but this group made me appreciate religious music. And what's amazing is they are only getting better. I've often said I wished they'd break out of the Christmas niche more but with their newest album I'm hoping they'll grab Grammy #4. Or is it 5 mow? Can anyone tell me if any of the other acapella groups like home free or voiceplay has any grammys? Just curious.
So many become angry when I say this. but PTX was so far superior when Avi was with them.
