I enjoy pressed glitters; or at least I did until realizing most of them are just plastic and not biodegradable = more microplastics in our oceans and waterways - ugh! But even if they were biodegradable (which some brands do), I now have more glitters in my collection than I ever care to use, because brands keep including them in palettes. So its cute the first couple of times, but now Im really over it. I would rather have actual shadows in my palettes, because they are more versatile and more healthy than glitters. That being said, I did actually purchase this palette and the highlighter palette on launch day. The mini palettes interested me only in theory; I love small curated palettes, but these dont have color stories that interest me, and they dont include enough mattes. This will be my first time trying Oden's Eye, and Im curious to see what this brand creates in the future.
If you still want to use up the glitters you already own, you can try to take off the glitters with some sticky tape and dispose it properly then wash your makeup off :)
I agree when it comes to glitter. When I found out they went into the ocean, I felt so bad. I don't trust biodegradable glitter yet. But at least someone is trying.

This is soo pretty! I did order it and when it comes I'm actually taking out the 2 glitters and replacing them with a deeper green matte and deeper blue matte. I know I won't use the glitters but still love the colors

I did 8 years in the military so I've been to quite a few countries lol. I can say pressed glitters are something that is BIG overseas. I think here on the western side of the world not so much. Putting two pressed glitters in there isn't too bad and probably wouldn't stop me from wanting to experience the rest of a pallette especially if its beautiful and calling to me. I think if companies made shades removable it would be better but that may cost more...

I love your content so much! I had to get this whole collection because Oden's Eye is such a great brand! I have a question for you though, and I don't want it to come off as me being rude. You don't like pressed glitter, but you use loose glitter in sone of your looks. What is the difference between the two for you? I've noticed it's harder to get pressed glitter off compared to loose, but is there something that I'm missing? Again, I love you and your content! Thank you for all of the hard work that you put into your videos.

I ended up setting an alarm& got up at 5:58am to purchase the big palette just in case it sold out! I ended up using Annette's code this time because I used yours last time &ily both equally! I realllllly wanted that magical highlight in the top left hand corner but the rest of the shades aren't really calling to me so I passed on that for now. I have a question for you though, and I don't want it to come off as me being rude. You don't like pressed glitter, but you use loose glitter in sone of your looks. What is the difference between the two for you? I've noticed it's harder to get pressed glitter off compared to loose, but is there something that I'm missing? Again, I love you and your content! Thank you for all of the hard work that you put into your videos.
I just prefer the choice of pulling one out when I feel like rather than one always being in a palette. I’d rather an eyeshadow be there.
