I previously owned an ES8 Manual Facelift version and now 10th generation FC9 (Civic Sedan). The ES was one of the best car I have ever driven. Great handling, and the pickup was pretty amazing... Never ever felt the same pleasure in FC9 :(

I've been using Honda Civic ES8 VTEC CVT vehicles for almost 5 years now and so far there have been no issue in the gearbox at all. Fuel consumption is at its best. The main thing about CVT gearbox is to do the maintenance at the right time. Then it would be perfectly fine.

ES8 actually comes with VTEC as well as CVT gearbox🙂. ES8 (1.5) and ES5 (1.6/No EPS) is made for the export market and ES1 (1.5) & ES3 (1.7) is JDM😇
