Last update : the keyboard went crazy again so i launched the virtual keyboard that didnt want to type too. Then i started staring at the virtual keyboard and found out that the touch « alt » was highlighted in blue. I clicked on it to deactivate it and now I can type even without a virtual keyboard. It solved my issue. Thanks the tip number 5 of uninstalling the driver and reboot the laptop worked. Thanks I was willing to sell my laptop to get rid of it. Thanks again. Now it works like a charm

My problem is that the keyboard work. But after some update on windows 11 the MF start working wrong. Using all caps letters when is not activated and viceversa when its Active. When tries to write numbers it writes the secondary symbols instead of the numbers. Is very annoying and im about to destroy the laptop with a hammer.... Some video about my issue?
updating the firmware worked for me. I thought the keyboard itself is broken, but turned out it was fine. just update the firmware guys. follow the last solution
None of these operations worked in my case. In my case I just changed the device in the device manager. I replaced Elan Keyboard Filter Device with PS/2 Standard Keyboard.
