JACLYN your ‘what I eat in a day’ videos wholeheartedly demonstrated, for me, what a healthy relationship with food looks like. That looks different for each person but your unapologetic intuitive eating whilst maintaining a healthy/vegan diet truly inspired me when I started my vegan journey. I always come back to your videos when I struggle and have never felt that they inspire negativity in anyway. Keep doing you!!
There's lots to be said about what in i eat in a days broadly but for me, your videos (and lauren toyota's) reminded me that not EVERYONE who was vegan was living in LA eating a million dates. That certainly made my veganism healthier.
Hi Jaclyn! As a longtime viewer, I have always genuinely enjoyed and loved your vlog style what I eat in a day videos. I appreciate your love for food and have always found those videos to be inspiring as meal ideas or just something to watch when I’m also eating. I do hope that your what I eat in the new videos can return but if not, I hope there are other long-form vids you can post because you have such a genuine vibe, I will enjoy any video you put out on RUclips :-)
I think it’s very obvious to most viewers whether wieiad vids are genuine or not. I really find yours insightful and inspiring and very helpful for ideas for myself x
ya girl is starvingg parched dehydrated pining yearning for new videos JACLYN your yt besties MISS YOUUUUUU 😭(BUT OFC no rush AT ALL & take your time & only post when YOU feel like it xxx) hugs!!
Yeeey 🎉 it’s my 10 year anniversary of being vegan / plant based this year tooooo. I still absolutely love it and I’m going for life without a doubt 🤍🤍🤍
I've been a fan of your "what I eat in a day" videos for years! Having navigated challenges with an eating disorder, your content has offered me a realistic and balanced perspective on adopting a vegan lifestyle. Your approach has shown me that being vegan can be healthy without succumbing to extreme ideas like 'clean veganism.' Your nuanced take on the topic reassures me, and your awareness of this conversation instills trust in your content. I appreciate that you showcase the diverse ways in which veganism can be embraced, making it relatable and sustainable for everyone. Your commitment to a realistic and balanced approach to life, especially through a vegan lens, is truly commendable!
truly inspiring I agree this is one of the main reason I continue doing my own RUclips what I eat in a week/day to just inspire others to experiment in the kitchen and have fun, and that in the end everything is about balance
Just came down here to say, in the world of what I eat in a day videos, yours are the rarest kinds - the kinds that genuinely helps those of us that do have complicated relationships with food and provide comfort without any urge for comparison. Please keep making them, as long as they still feed your soul ❤️
I used to enjoy your WIEIAD (in 2020-2021 ish), but I realized later that it was feeding into my anorexia (I was eating "through" your videos... yikes). So I just don't watch them anymore. But that's really just me personally!
Ya that is really common! I am 4 years into recovery and found the what I eat in a day videos from any creator triggering when I was deep in it. I liked these ones though because they gave me food inspiration, but eventually stopped for a bit for the same reason. These videos are probably fine for the well adjusted human who doesn't have an ed. And I can watch these videos now that I am better
@@katiemutschler6040 I'm 2 years and a half into recovery so I'm not a this point where I can watch them yet. Good job for being in recovery tho, this is the HARDEST thing ever💙 You've got this
@sweet_creature7799 thank you! Once you get over that hurdle then it becomes a lot easier! 4 years in I suddenly had a mind shift so I hope it comes to you too
Fun fact: Your “what I eat in a day” videos are more than just that. I’m not vegan. Nowhere near it honestly (don’t come for me and my meat, cheese and eggs 🙈). However, I enjoy them because you chat and still share your day. So it’s a mini vlog with meals involved. 🤷🏽♀️ Anyways, love you and miss you over here!
I am vegan and also do what I eat in a week/day style videos and like she said I never want or in anyway try to advocate for people to go vegan and look down on them if they don't in the end its all about finding what fuels your body best and makes you feel best
I checked out your RUclips channel and found your content very nice and thumbnail construction perfect. But the problem is that you have not done SEO in your video due to which your video is not getting more views. If you do video SEO your video will be on the top of the search list and your audience will increase. I also noticed that your video tag is not using SEO keywords, title-description-tag is not SEO friendly, title is too long, description is not correct, I can fix these if you want. And I will SEO your videos to reach your real audience.
I as a vegan do enjoy other vegans what I eat in a day videos for meal inspiration. And to see I am not alone. But there are a few mainly the raw fruit only vegans who are very dangerous. I think it depends on the reason for it, whether the video is just fun or hey eat like this and you can look like me. If you start with a caveat that everyone has different needs, calorie requirements, ethnic and religious backgrounds, ethical views and this is only what you ate on one particular day it is fine. If a video starts with a body check then immediately no.
totalllly! i think there's different sub categories of wieiad videos and i feel like i can tell right away if it's coming from a positive space or not!
precisely I feel like now many what I eat videos focus on body in the thumbnail where they show in a way that if you eat like me this is how you will look this is why I do WAIEID videos on my own RUclips channel where I aim to inspire others to have fun in the kitchen and not to eat exactly how I eat, in the end is about balance
The first thing I ever watched on RUclips was what I eat in a day vegan many years ago and it really helped me feel less alone and give me ideas of what to eat. You have always been one of my favorites! I do think what I eat in a days have become so damaging and ridiculous with half naked poses in the mirror and unrealistic lifestyles and perfect aesthetics. I don’t watch many anymore but I really miss yours for many reasons!
When I was in the worst of my ED I was a vegan who watched way too many WIEIAD videos to avoid food and justify my restrictive diet. Your videos were so helpful when I began to recover because I was still a vegan but had never really seen vegans online have a healthy relationship with food! I’m no longer vegan since my ED kind of hijacked it, but I still appreciate your food content as a safe, non-judgmental, and realistic view on a day of eating!

aw thanks for tuning in bb!
I was DEEP in the raw vegan, raw till 4 vegan movement back in 2014-2016ish. I remember watching your videos then!
ahahaha yes it was a time that's for sure

agreee
like that is why I also do my own RUclips WIEIAD not to encourage comparison in anyway but foster inspiration and that food can be fun
How is your winter in Toronto this year?
What camera and mic do you use to film? love this!
canon eos r and a saramonic mic! :)
