I enjoyed this version best. It brings all of Dickens' social satire and criticism out and Marc Warren (Monks) is great. Fagin is well played as well. I enjoy how it really stays true to the book. More interesting than other versions.
I liked this version and it brings home all the deprivation, abuse, exploitation and poverty that was prevalent during the Industrial Revolution that Charles Dickens wrote about in his novels and this one was no exception
oliver and edward are very alike, they both are strong willed they both try to not be manipulated by the wrong, in the situations they are in. just edward has been in it too long, and is weak as he is ill and witnessed a great horror. but he means well.

Aw, that's so sweet with Bumble and Mrs Mann. Nice to see a true love story between two older people. I'm sure they'll be very happy together.
