Papaitan Ilocano Style | Ilocano Beef Stew

Papaitan Ilocano - Papaitan is a Filipino soup dish that is a specialty in the northern part of the Philippines. The name papaitan describes one of the dish’s prominent flavors: bitter or “pait”.

Ingredients:
1-½ lb beef meat, cut into cubes
1 lb Honeycomb tripe (twalya), thin sliced
1 medium sized onion, sliced
3-4 garlic cloves, sliced
3 stalks of spring onions, chopped
1 small size of Ginger, sliced
1/2 pack of Mama sitas Papaitan mix
2-3 tbsp of fish sauce
