Yasin Nasser and Ali Katumba claimed a significant victory following a seamless race in the season-opening event in Mbarara Rally. The crew later secured victory by 4 minutes and 16 seconds giving their newly acquired Ford Fiesta Rally5 its first victory. Ronald Sebuguzi was second and Duncan Mubiru third finishing the podium Places.
Ibrahim Lubega opened his two-wheel drive title chase with victory followed by Mansoor Lubega and Umar Kakyama in third.
