Love it! absolutely love it. But the ATC could do with worldwide accents, I am sure you lads and Brian are working on it along with IFR. Keep up the great work!
McCracken here! I'm the voice engineer for SI - can assure you this is at the top of my list. I plan to tackle this region by region, giving the love and attention needed to each. We don't use default or "stock" AI voices, which makes it quite the extensive process. Thanks for your support and patience!!!
I am enjoying the app in MSFS. As the app matures can the AI be updated to correctly respond to the basic communications used by Helicopters to request departures from and arrivals to a non-movement area in a tower controlled airport? For example, Pilot request: Tower, Helicopter N5165TT Bell 206 request Southwest departure from Helistream with ECHO. Typical Tower Response: Bell 1TT cleared for Southwest departure from current location at your own risk. Pilot Response: Cleared for Southwest departure at my risk Bell 1TT. The AIM gives a detailed explanation of phraseology for non-movement area departures. In addition, when landing, I typically do not want to follow taxiways if that can be avoided so I ask for a transition to the desired non-movement area or Helipad. SI does approve transitions, but then SI requests I contact ground after I have landed in the non-movement area. SayIntentions is a great APP, cheers to the SayIntentions team!
I would love for the ATC to give the IFR Landing procedure to be at around T/D so that the plane can be configered in time i.e iv been 50 miles from my destonation and still at cruies altitude
Loving SayIntentions so far. Question: Would it be possible for you guys to somehow tweak the way your system handles CTAFs for remote airports like Death Valley, CA, Barstow, NV, etc.? For example, I was recently flying into Death Valley airport and announced my position and intentions on 122.9 only to hear in reply, "Nobody's listening on 122.9." Upon hearing that, my first thought was "Rude!" but then I remembered it was a response from an AI. Of course I realize it's unlikely that another GA aircraft would be present at a remote field while I'm there, but is there a way for the AI to handle this differently?
I have been trialling it and it is quite unique but I would have hoped for prompts of what to say where. It's also really very expensive if you are paying with $AUD.
I understand that, but think of the market the software occupies. Think of the obvious training solutions. That would make it worth the substantial cost.
I always enjoy the clearance for domestic chemtrail flight in the chatter!

This is in the plans! We have basic heli ops supported, and definitely plan on expanding that further after the bulk of IFR is complete

Right now this works perfectly when you file a simbrief flightplan including SID&STARs.
@@ifr-ed I thought SimBrief put sid's and star's into it's flight planes?
@@TheDigitalFlight Only when you explicitly add them (theres a setting somewhere)

It´s ATC. Not a training software. Just to point that out.
