End of the month mean a summary of my October shopping trips! I have shown the clips in previous vlogs, but putting them together again for my friends who only like to watch shopping trips 😎🛒🎵 Please skip this if this is not your cup of tea. 🍵
You always make shopping look like an adventure, as well as comforting and routine. Thank you for taking us with you on your trips to the stores. Smiles and cheers from your friends from across the Pacific. ❤️🥰👋🏾
Thank you Linna for this compilation it's so nice to go shopping with you. I watched after having my Covid booster so relaxed me. Not the jab that raised my blood pressure, but the traffic and parking lol. ❤❤❤👵🏴🌹🌹
I love your videos they are so relaxing and calming but im rather curious, out of all of the supermarkets you have visited which ones are your favorites and which ones are not your favorites and why? I would love to visit there one day but traveling is so expensive these days and happy Halloween to you and the boys ❤
Groceries seem so much cheaper than the U.K. but we found Japan incredibly expensive for everything when we visited some years ago. Beautiful country and very welcoming people 😊
I heard on a cooking show a long time ago, when a recipe calls for wine. Always buy a wine or in this case, sake, that you would drink. Never these “cooking wines”. It makes a big difference. The veggies you buy are absolutely amazing. We get good vegetables at Farmer Markets, but the supermarket can be a little disappointing.
You have the best beef in the world in Japan. Never buy from anywhere else. I know it is expensive. So, buy it occasionally. I buy Wagu here in the USA. But, only once in a while because of the price.
Love these videos, but i'm suprised how cheap most of the food is in Japan, here in germany most of it would be twice maybe 3 times the prize, exspecially the meat(some mid-good steaks cost like 20-25€ in the supermarket), but the fruits are way cheaper here in germany i mean for like 12 pears you would pay like what 2,50€ maybe less
I watch channels from many cultures, ethnicities, countries and religions. I love differences and the similarities that cooking for and feeding our families or just themselves teaches about humans, about where they live, what food was around before grocery stores, evidenced by the types of home-cooked memory meals and frugal meals each has. My biggest question right now after watching a video of a Jewish family preparing for Sabbat was how that family could ever buy meals there in Japan. Not that it would be impossible or price prohibitive just the shear differences in the types of foods consumed and the amount of preparing that Jewish mothers have to do to be sure that things that need cooked seperate are, that no chance for any bug could possibly be in their foods...many i didn't know could harbor the little pests.. like broccoli who knew. Not to mention having them prepared for selling by the relevant religious leader. Just wondering what kind of issues your family would have over here in central kansas. So many of the things in your stores, out side of most of the veggies. Are items i didnt know existed. Now there i am sure is an 'asian' type grocery store in Wichita...but out here ...thats an hour away. We only get in there every 4/5 weeks to shop at Sam's club. I couldn't think about doing it every week. Plus we see her top up every few days. Out here we complain when 6 gallons of milk dont last week and daddy has to go back in. Our closest town with a grocery store, our little town has one but it very high priced and low selection..basicly the necessary, is about 20 minutes away one way. My son and daughter in law live almost 45 minutes from that same bigger town. I trip into Wichita is 3 hours round trip. Like i said just so fun to see how others eat! Thank you.
@@Joker13232 well if that's the case then so be it, Linna makes money from AdSense then and good on her. We don't pay her for her videos and time. If you don't like ads then get youtube premium
I can see how you might think that. But as someone who has watched most of her vlogs i can assure you those boys get a very healthy and varied diet. They eat many more varieties of vegetables than most kids in the western world. The meals we see usually have 3 to 6 different vegetables ever meal. Leafy greens from spinach to at least 2 different kinds of lettuces, carrots, potatoes, yams, cabbages of different types, seaweeds, several types of tomatoes, sprouts, mushrooms ive seen her cook them about 4 differentkinds that i know what are, she does picklingof them as well..some of the vegetables i have no idea how to even begin to cook. Not to mention all the fruits we see her get for them. Her children eat more varieties of vegetables in a week than most kids do in month. They are very healthy, slim, energetic you men. With school and after school activities as well as they walk most every where they go out side of longer trips. I would say she is doing an amazing job of feeding them well with a healthy diet while also allowing them to be treated with sweets.

It’s really good to see these videos as it gives a clear idea of roughly how much groceries will be in Japan. Thank you

We are incredibly lucky in the UK, Australia and America are so much more expensive also.
Everything in Okinawa is more expensive 😭
Love your grocery shopping trips. 😌 They help me to relax. Thanks for that. ❤

Groceries here in Canada are also far more expensive. In some instances 2 or 3 times the cost.

Hii, I have a question. What’s the name of the snack shop on the 2nd half of your video?

It makes me sad to see pudgy Japanese kids! Just 2 generations ago they were ALL thin. As a person who struggles with weight, very sad.
Forgive me if I sound rude but you buy a lot of sugary junk food for your kids and call it snacks instead give them vegetables or homemade food.
I can see how you might think that. But as someone who has watched most of her vlogs i can assure you those boys get a very healthy and varied diet.
