Ephemeral is a film about the ever-changing state of nature. As humans, we expect everything to be the same -- day in and day out. But if we look to nature, we see that nothing lasts forever. The universe is in a constant state of change.
Shot over 12 months, the film covers Iceland in its various states of change. From the long days of summer to the long nights of winter, the stunning colors of the midnight sun to the equally breathtaking northern lights, the green and lush summer to the snow-covered winter, Iceland is a great example of extreme opposites and drastic change when nature's elements come together in all of its beauty, growth and destruction.

Not really in 8K but it looks better than 95% of the videos claiming to be 4K on youtube which usually have shitty bitrate and compression.

Surbhi K Shah not really much of a night sky in August. You have to wait until late August or September.
Surbhi K Shah - cold winter months are the best. I was fortunate to be in Iceland in 1976 - 1978 before the world knew it existed. Walked under the Northern Lights and they appeared so close I almost felt I could touch them. Multiple colors danced in a frenzy above me. I could swear I could hear them crackle and pop. It was one of the best years recorded for them.

95% of youtube users has up to 1080hd capabilities to watch, so even 4k is useless for the most, 8k is for few...
