Thinking rice exceeded expectations is delusional. He's done exactly what people thought nothing more and for the price tag it's Bellingham level who actually has exceeded and is levels above rice and doing it for by far the biggest club in the world.

You can't say he "supposed" to be playing like a 100m player because it's legit rare for someone to live up consistently to those standards when they have went for 100m. SO Price shouldn't be the indicator to change rice from A to B because it should be based off the player and the expectations they live. That's why he's A for me.

Reev you can avoid higher grades for expensive players. You’re not ranking the player, you’re ranking the transfer. The transfer is based on performances compared to the price tag. If a 30 million signing is putting up an 8/10 every week and a 100 million signing is putting an 8/10 every week, the 30 million signing is a better signing cos he’s putting up that level of performance but being 70 million cheaper

Personally, I see A as "exceeded expectations/price", so players like Madison, Palmer, Vicario, Bellingham. Declan Rice is a B in that, he has played very well, probably 2nd best DM in the league, but wouldn't say he's exceeded his price tag. Whereas Madison was touted as signing of the season, best player in the league (before his injury). Vicario in his first PL season, is at the very least a top 3 goalkeeper in the league, and there's a debate if he should be top. And even Jude was bought for a similar price, but he's basically getting nominations for the Ballon D'or already.
Rice is a great signing but the only way he's in A is if there's an S tier.

Declan Rice has had more bad games than Szoboszlai this season, he had 2/3 bad games at the end of December, he's been out recently through injury and Liverpool's best midfield is Mac Allister, Jones and Szoboszlai.

Wataru Endo is a better signing that Declan Rice for the simple fact that he cost £16m and has been solid having no problem getting up to speed with the premier league after battling relegation with Stuttgart. Liverpool also has a higher win percentage and ppg with Endo in the starting 11.

Reev and Theo NEVER take price into account when ranking transfers. They often argue that price doesn't matter as well. It's as if they think they are rating the player and not the transfer. When ranking transfers. The price of the transfer weighs 50/50 with perfomance.
Szobo has been great, macca has been crazy, endo has been great as well. We haven’t had lower than a B transfer
