Yeah you know I thought everyone was crazy and then I remembered I separated parts of one big plant because the “variegation looks different” thinking it’d just make a different looking Marble Queen. After a few people commented I went and looked and realized you guys were talking about that piece! I got two (or more? Gonna do a video on it!) in one pot!!
Your honesty at the end is what really hits home. In the land of plant-tubers with perfect homes, beautiful faces, and rare plants...it's refreshing to really see someone who is so down to earth. Not that you don't have any of those things but your honesty is so very needed.
I love your videos - such humor, such honestly. Especially appreciate the part at the end about reassuring folks about their plant collection being good as it is, take their time, not get caught up in it. I'm pretty new to house plants and learning a ton! Thanks, Pam, I think you are the bees knees. :)
Thank you so much Theah! I try to be very aware of what I’m putting out there because I don’t want to contribute to the “keeping up with the Jones’s” stress social media can give us. I can promise everyone I will always keep it 💯 💚 thanks for watching!!
I just found your channel. I really enjoy it.The advice at the end of this video makes me enjoy you even more. Lots of love and light your way sister:)
That was a really nice and entertaining plant/home tour. I enjoyed the authenticity. I also really appreciate the final message. It's so easy to get carried away wishing you have the plants of the people in these videos so it's nice to be brought back to a healthier perspective.
@@PamsPrettyPlants It is unfortunate that just about any area of interest gets coopted by the capitalist system which sees it as an opportunity to exploit people's desires. What I find really sad about that is for me, plants are more of a nostalgic/emotional thing. I always think of my mum and nan when I see certain plants and remember their passion for them when I was growing up. I notice that the new(ish) craze for houseplants seems to be making some people insecure about their own plants which is why I really appreciated your comment towards the end of the video. I also really appreciated someone showing a realistic home as opposed to the usual homes you see where everything is flawless. As someone who rents and is not rich, it's nice to see other more realistic homes shown in a way that still makes me go "oh that's lovely!". I'm not sure if that made much sense, I just woke up and am not with it yet lol. Anyway, thanks again and have a lovely weekend :)
THANK YOU!!!! For the after message on how you acquired them and the mentality aspect ( like myself) People need to realize that there is a thing called “Plant Retail Therapy”. Loving your new videos and the message your giving the Plant Community
I found you on the recommended videos and omg I am so glad I clicked on this video I relate to you so much!! I lost my brother last year it really has left me lost so I moved and my new room had way more light so I started really getting into plants and now I have over 100 oops I guess plants give you that warm and comfort feeling I’m actually so happy I’ve found plants they make me happy!
Hi Desiree I’m so sorry you lost your brother too. It’s the worst club we’re all in. :( Plants really are so healing though, just looking through these comments the amount of us buying plants to get through things like this is pretty crazy! Thank you for sharing with me and watching!
I just found your channel a after Steph Hall's video and I absolutely love it!! A video has not gone by that hasn't put a smile on my face, I love that you are keeping it true to yourself. It's so refreshing to see, thank you and I can hardly wait to rip through the rest of your videos 🙏
Brad was right! I immediately love you! And it's not about the size or complexity of your collection...you rescue and you pet your leaves. Tells me everything I need to know! 💚🌱💚🌱💚
Thank you for sharing and was able to identify some of my plants, I also am a plant freak. I also having sad moments my husband has cancer, so by buying and taking care of my plants takes the stress away.
😩 that is awful, I am so sorry. I’m glad you have a comfort in plants, I really feel like there’s a reason these comments are full of people saying plants soothe their pain and grief. They are healing somehow. I’m sending you a big electronic hug. 🧡 and a big middle finger to cancer!!
OMG Pam! so many gorgeous plants, your jasmine plant in the cool hanger, love it! I love thrifted things, and I'm old enough to be vintage myself, so I do love thrifted vintage stuff, and macrame hangers for sure. I love dark plants, like the coleus, so stunning. I have a tiny purple passion vine, I love anything purple, can't wait for it to trail and get bigger. I have two cats and they never touch any of my plants, I guess I'm lucky in that way. I did have one kitty that would bite on my Christmas cactus or bat at my spider plant, she passed away three years ago and then I got a black kitty that never touches the plants. Once again being a plant parent is always a learning experience, crispy bits are just a part of being a plant parent, I am forever learning new things everyday, thanks to all of my plant friends. Thanks Pam for this tour, and yes it's fun to see how many plants we can fit into our spaces, I have over 140 in about 750 square feet. Plants just make me so happy, and when I find one that brings me joy I buy it, but I make sure I have the right conditions in my home also, I don't want to subject a plant to instant death, lol! Love you lady and I will see you soon, bye for now.
My black cat is pretty good about the plants, she’s dainty and moves right through them barely disrupting a leaf. The giant orange one HOWEVER 😒 He doesn’t eat them generally, he’s just so enormous he’s bonks everything onto the floor trying to be a gazelle when he is at best, a walrus. 😑 I’m a big thrifter, I don’t like buying new stuff and making more trash. The bird cage thing came from the flea market! Thanks for watching and saying hi!!! 🧡🧡🧡
Great plant tour 💕 the opening video montage was beautifully done and really showed your photographers eye! Thank you for sharing and I hope you didn’t have any plants damaged while the windows were being replaced. Message on point at the end about collecting plants ☺️
I can't believe you remembered all the names! I probably spend about that time in the garden every week when I'm on top of my game. I currently am not. I have fifty pounds of tomatoes in my freezer currently that need to be turned into sauce and canned. Then I'll rip everything out of the beds and get ready for next year!
I love the pace of this video 🌿👍🏼 best housetour I think I’ve seen. A lot of plants! Love the white fusion 😊 that was a new one for me. And your begonias are stunning!! I think your pilea pep. might like a bigger pot perhaps? Not sure, but I’ve heard they like a lot of room.
Thank you!! I tell everyone all the time they’re missing out! I think they’re catching on though, I had so many requests to do a care video I moved that to the top of my list. People are hearing the siren song.... 😂
great plants, nice wicker, cute cat , I like your style, take care pam. It's great advice you share at the end, I've aquire my plants mostly from cuttings, I like to watch small grow into specimens
Thank you!!! I thrifted all that wicker 😍 I love it. I love babies too, that’s how I got that cluttered shelf. It’s just so satisfying to watch them grow!
Thanks so much for your tour! Great to see everything. Looks like everything is thriving except maybe the watermelon pep. So many other people have the same issues so I haven't bought one. Don't worry about your bathroom. When things are like that in my home, I just say it's the rustic look! Thanks for your lol sense of humour! Sending plant love from Sydney, Australia. I'm so excited because we are now in spring.
Hahaha perfect, I say it’s “shitty chic” Not sure what the old occupant was thinking using flat paint on plaster in a bathroom with no vent but ya know. What do I know? 😂 I’m like THIS CLOSE to buying another watermelon pep and throwing this one into the sun and pretending none of this ever happened.
Fantastic tour, loved every second.Very wise words at the end.My collection exploded after Mum had a stroke (she's doing ok now) Plants helped me through 🤗 Huge smiles and thanks, Tish 🌺
I absolutely love your plant collection and you home is beautiful. Your Begonia collection is enviable😍😍😍. I just found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for sharing☺👍❤.

Thanks Pam that was super fun Also gave me some more ideas on how to house my plants. You sure have some great interesting plants. Thank you for all the time this had to have taken you and for sharing with all of us.
@@PamsPrettyPlants Me too. so glad I found your channel.Potting up plants today. Another community pot has been sorted. This one was going to be a terrible mess. Sansaveria, night blooming cereus, pathos and red emerald philodendron all in the same dang pot. WHY did I do that?? Yah I know why because they needed out of their rooting water and I just grabbed the whole handful and stuck them in the pot. All is good I made 4 new pot fulls and left the pathos in pot as is. I think all will be fine. Now to clean up the kitchen floor. LOL
just discovered you and I already adore you. you should know you're helping me work through some way overdue home projects. listening/watching you is making it all so bearable. oh and also, I too lost a brother. so just dropping by to say "hello"! you're pretty badass!
That makes me so happy because that’s exactly how I get through my unpleasant chores!! But ya know... with other people’s videos. It’d be kinda weird if I just listened to myself. Thank you for this day brightening comment! I hope you keep enjoying my videos!! 💚💚
It's fun watching your plant tour. My Saturday and Sunday mornings are for my watering plants only. A hour each day. Yes, I buy plants before clothes and sometimes snack food 😚. I like snack food while watching plants video. It is hard for me to keep my plants under 115 plants. Not including propagations. I found that more 115 becomes a burden or I always missed watering a plant or 2.
I’m definitely well into “burden” zone but thanks to quarantine I no longer have a job so LOTS more time to set up some watering helpers 😂 I’m a snacker too. Food is life!!
You know I don’t know if I have seen them in any tours either! I got mine from Josh’s Frogs, I think I signed up to be emailed on restock. I love them! They had a small adjustment period of looking a little sad but recovered quick and they’re very easy!
Sorry I didn't get to this video yesterday... my my mind and heart were very preoccupied... ... but glad I had a little time today to relax and enjoy this! Your plants are so beautiful Pam.. I don't think I could handle that many but I'm sure I could handle a few more than I have..lol I loved that marble one by your heater.. it's such a happy green color! I chuckled at your green leaf tray!.. and of course, the tiny hands!... you're always a trip!.. a fun one! Of course I watched the whole thing.. that's how I roll !! I hope you have an amazing week my friend!
Thank you for what you said at the end, I buy plants because I love them first but honestly I catch myself buying when I am not feeling happy or full in other aspects of my life and I have found myself spending too much and then not having enough for an important bill or payment. Yes that can be scary and leave you feeling even worse. I am better at budgeting now and only buy what I have set aside specifically for plants! I love this hobby and the point is to enjoy what you have and set goals for what you want. Not to wake up with a plant haul hangover with the smell of regret all over you! 😒 thank you for another awesome video! you're a doll. ✌🙌🙌👏👏👏 PS I love your outdoor videos too. I also have a garden and that was actually my first hobby before I got into houseplants. Both are so fulfilling but also a lot of work indeed!🌿🌵🌼🍃
Thank you Serena! I try to stay aware of what I’m putting out there! I’m just as susceptible to that dopamine addiction that is plant shopping! Gotta keep that shit in check 😂💚
Thank you so much for this tour. I’m a new subscriber and it was no coincidence I came upon this particular video. I’m refering to the reason why you ended up with so many plants. This damned apocalypse and some “newly found” anxiety has me spending money I don’t have!! 😂 This was something I needed to hear. 🙏🏼 thank youuuu, and thank you for thelaughs, you are hilarious!!
Great plants Pam!!! What you said at the end is so damn true and glad you said it! That many plants takes a lot of care, time and money, eventually we all run out of room! Lol.. Love you girl you rock!✌💖
@@PamsPrettyPlants well I love that and its so true! Because it can get over whelming fast if your not careful! And most people have jobs and family's , kids ECT. Then about a bazillion plants. I've always had plant's, but then after my kids grew up and moved out I went Bat shit crazy!! Lol✌💖
@@PamsPrettyPlants I only knew because i've been obsessing over wanting one haha. Just got mine, sadly it was infested with spider mites :/ bUT! i am treating them and she'd on the mend!
Tiny hands and that tray you definitely don't use to roll joints in. 😂😂😂 That would be a great video. Hahaha. Of course I made it all the way to the end. You effing rock! Much love and many blessings.
New to the channel! Love your videos and personality! Great advice at the end too! I just had to slow down as well when i noticed I had passed the 100 mark. Filled the whole of some sad times and they help with stress. But i think it’s easy to get caught up in acquiring more and more and not enjoying what you do have.
It happens fast doesn’t it!? You’re right though, we have to make sure it’s not just the high of a new purchase that we are in love with! I think I’ve gotten better. Now I stalk rare plants and wait... 👀
I like that dancing one in the bathroom.....reminds me of my dolphin violet .....it's a type of African Violet....the Flowers are on thin stems and look like thier dancing in the wind
Ya it's a pretty one eh?......I take mine outside in a shady spot all summer bringing it back in b4 frost...but it would be happy inside too.....oh no am I giving you more ideas lol .....we all need plants in our lives....
I love your plants, and your message at the end was perfect! I also must say your makeup is so pretty in this 💕 Thank you for the lovely tour of your collection!
Wow...I LOVE your message at the end! Sometimes I feel bad when I don't have the newest trendy plant, and I go through phases where I buy lots of plants and don't have money for anything else. I also hate how when there is a new trendy plant, people sell a dinky little cutting on ebay or etsy for like $50+! wtf?! Love the video, thanks! New subscriber! :)
Thank you! I lucked out big time with the amount of windows and the fact that I’m have a big yard between me and the next house. Full unobstructed morning sun 🧡 My son has the best one and I’m trying to talk him into adopting some plants 😂
They are all awesome, but your Creeping Charlie plant is so cute.🤓omg your cat looks exactly like my cat Christian. I’m definitely jealous of your plants, including your monsteras!🤓
That little Charlie died! I’m going to grab another this spring. He was too close to the new oven that runs HOT! Thank you!! You’re watching lots of my stuff today I appreciate you!

Great video, beautiful plants, thank you so much for sharing! My brother just died in June and I'm doing the same thing; trying to fill the hole with leaves and life. I've spent way too much money, but at least it ain't on whiskey! I'm trying to slow down on purchases, and propagate more...trying. Anyway, love your vibe - can't wait until your Halloween time videos :)
Looked like a rolling tray to me too. LOL! (JK). Lovely collection. Great advise, beware of "PLANT OVERLOAD" happens pretty quickly- I know all too well, I'm kicking around 350. ?? The struggle of caring for them can become very real over time. Not sure how many plant babies now, too ashamed to do a current count. Love your channel lady! Happy Growing!

I’m definitely well into “burden” zone but thanks to quarantine I no longer have a job so LOTS more time to set up some watering helpers 😂
I’m a snacker too. Food is life!!
That is the first Tiny Dancer I’ve seen in a video! I have it saved in my wishlist but I’m definitely going to order it! Thanks for the tour!!
You know I don’t know if I have seen them in any tours either! I got mine from Josh’s Frogs, I think I signed up to be emailed on restock. I love them! They had a small adjustment period of looking a little sad but recovered quick and they’re very easy!
That’s where I saw them! I’ve ordered a few plants from them already
Sorry I didn't get to this video yesterday... my my mind and heart were very preoccupied...
... but glad I had a little time today to relax and enjoy this!
Your plants are so beautiful Pam.. I don't think I could handle that many but I'm sure I could handle a few more than I have..lol
I loved that marble one by your heater.. it's such a happy green color!
I chuckled at your green leaf tray!.. and of course, the tiny hands!... you're always a trip!.. a fun one!
Of course I watched the whole thing.. that's how I roll !!
I hope you have an amazing week my friend!
Sending a big big hug your way 🧡🧡🧡 I have been thinking of you
Great video! I absolutely the eclectic style of your home. Great plants!!
Thank you!! I like to call it “sh*tty chic” 😂💚
I really enjoyed seeing your plant collection.
Yay! I’m so glad you liked it! 🧡 thanks for watching
Awesome video. Keep spreading the joy. Keep smiling.
Thank you, I will if you will!
You have such an awesome collection! A lot of your plants are on my wish list so I get excited when I see them. 💖🌿
Thank you!! I am pretty proud of it even if it nearly bankrupted me 😂
Your plants look nice and healthy

Houseplant GOALS! New sub and proud to be a part of this community 😁
Hi Ashley!! Thanks for subscribing!! 💚
That purpleback coleus is wicked! Wise words at the end of the video.. Thanks for sharing 🙏
I love it so much 🥰 I want fifty more!
NO PAM
Hi Pam...this made me happy today...thank you
I’m so glad!! 🥰
Love love all of your plants, they are stunning!
Thank you so much!!
You are so welcome and thank you!!
Great job!!! Funny AF as usual!! Also great message at the end. My Current situation 🥴

I’m keepin it really real on this channel!! Lol My watering routine video is gonna be a PSA 😂 thank you so much and I love you back!!
Lol✌💖
Your first marble queen looks more like a manjula it's BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have one on it's way to me in the mail and im sooooooo excited.

Tiny hands and that tray you definitely don't use to roll joints in. 😂😂😂 That would be a great video. Hahaha. Of course I made it all the way to the end. You effing rock! Much love and many blessings.
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
New to the channel! Love your videos and personality! Great advice at the end too! I just had to slow down as well when i noticed I had passed the 100 mark. Filled the whole of some sad times and they help with stress. But i think it’s easy to get caught up in acquiring more and more and not enjoying what you do have.
It happens fast doesn’t it!? You’re right though, we have to make sure it’s not just the high of a new purchase that we are in love with! I think I’ve gotten better. Now I stalk rare plants and wait... 👀
DAMN GURL that's a lot of happy healthy plants!
...this is last year’s tour so there’s a lot more now 😅💚💚
I like that dancing one in the bathroom.....reminds me of my dolphin violet .....it's a type of African Violet....the Flowers are on thin stems and look like thier dancing in the wind
I googled it and wow 😍
Ya it's a pretty one eh?......I take mine outside in a shady spot all summer bringing it back in b4 frost...but it would be happy inside too.....oh no am I giving you more ideas lol .....we all need plants in our lives....
Thank you for the wonderful tour of your plants and the even more beautiful message towards the end.. Love it 💚💚 subscribed😊

I love your plants, and your message at the end was perfect! I also must say your makeup is so pretty in this 💕 Thank you for the lovely tour of your collection!
Nice collection. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
You have big collection and it so pretty . 😍
You’re gonna like a haul I have coming up because I got one those trendy plants everyone charges $75 for for waaay less 🤫
Thank you!!
I wish I had as many windows as you. I would have so many more plants lol!! Great plants.
Pam's Pretty Plants Thank you! I am watching your stuff and going online to check out the stores you’re buying from, lol. 🤓
Pam's Pretty Plants well along with admiring your plants and relating to you, I appreciate your words of wisdom and I hope we can be friends! 😉💕

I'm so glad I stumbled upon you because I absolutely love plant related videos & your personality is phenomenal! You're comment at 8:40 was one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
Great tour everybody looks happy and healthy thanks for sharing ❤
Almost everyone! Little anxious about winter lol 🧡🧡🧡 thank you for watching
You have so many beautiful babies 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! 🥰
Daaamnnn girl!! You’re on your way to Summer Rayne status 😂🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@PamsPrettyPlants LOL, Not even close! Her collection is breathtaking!!!
