Rick, please upload full episodes of 25 minutes each again
Saif Khan On my channel I organised a playlist of all of Rick’s longer videos. 114 of them, perhaps.
Waterford City sold short again - 1 whole minute! Come Rick Steves, that is not up to your usual high standard! :-(

Huh, just found out my family on me mum's side hails from Waterford. Apparently me great-great-grandad left in the early 1800s to come to Canada. He was a teacher who ended up teaching children in Newfoundland. So, hi to all my - unknown - relations there! I'll drop by one of these days and we'll have a pint or two and catch up. :P
I recommed svalbard

Apparently my surname comes from Waterford or Kilkenny. It’s killing me not knowing which one I’m from. I want to visit my ancestors home so bad!. Waterford looks so beautiful.

Dubliners lived in Dubh linn centuries before the Norse arrived to found the little settlement of Waterford the oldest house found in Dublin predates the Norse by centuries and is Anglo Saxon descovered under copper alley Dublin 8 the old street in Dublin was found under stoneybatter D7 and is around two thousand years old Dublin is a much older city than the waterford with a much longer history Dublin had over 50 viking ruler kings in its history while waterford only had about 12
Isn’t Waterford one of the two city-counties of Ireland along with limerick
Hey pothead hows it looking
I think vikings are treated unfairly... They were smarter and able to travel by boat, is it their fault they wanted to explore? Maybe when they landed in unknown places they were treated very badly by the natives (likely), and no choice but to fight back and reap the rewards. They weren't only smarter, but stronger too.
Kevin C I think they also wanted farm land.
this needs to be taken down because it is certainly not promotional
Not the oldest city. The oldest Viking city.
Waterford is the oldest city in Ireland
Frankly the myth that Waterford is "the oldest city in Ireland" needs to stop if one is interested in fact and truth.. Dublin, established by the Vikings in 841, is most definitely Ireland's oldest city. Dublin was the first permanent settlement established by the Vikings in Ireland and Waterford came much later, in 914 I believe. It's quite astonishing how this lie has been allowed to grow such mythical legs. On top of that, to suggest that Waterford supposedly became more important than Dublin for a time is highly questionable given that Dublin was one of the most most important viking towns/cities in western Europe.
Waterford Irelands oldest city
