I enjoyed the commentary on this video. It reminded me of the Peter Sellers record advertising "Balham," I lived there throughout my youth, visited six years ago, and couldn't believe how desolate and run down it looked.
TheAbbeywhite. Hi. U need to visit Portrush again. They got toe open and 17 million pound has been spent on sprucing the place up. It’s as good as new now. A wonderful place to visit. God bless

When did the UK have a reputation for terrible food? There have been a multitude of restaurants serving World Food since the 70's, including fine dining. It was the USA that brought over rubbish like MacDonalds and KFC!

@insaneshane83 Yes well that's not surprizing sir. You see when the Ulster-Scots, who most of the people in this video are decended (they are not Irish) migrated to the USA, they choose to live outside society and became known as hillbillys. So the Ulster-Scots are the original hillbillys just like the people in Portrush. Alabama/Portrush, no difference in the people, they are from the same ancestory.
