Can I just jump to the end and say what a beautiful view out the window- to me that is paradise. Like you,love nature and flowers and plants and to me that looks picture perfect and a beautiful haven to sit and read in a comfy chair or for you,also do crochet and knitting. I loved my books.had so many- in the hundreds a wall cupboard,full length of the wall,stuffed from crime fiction to bird watching to diaries of nature walking (by top nature authors) ,astrology,medical,Egyptology (another interest of mine) ,books similar to countrymen- I’d sit in my chair in my bedroom when much younger,by the window looking down the valley towards the sea (about 15miles away) Always enjoy your videos 💟💞💟☺️ Xx
@@uglenddalejones2 Thankyou Glenda, I love to read your comments.I would have loved to live in the country like when I was little but the town is better for me.Everything is on my doorstep.At one time I thought a remote cottage would of been ideal but in reality it would of been a harder life.I love to go to the middle of nowhere listen to the birds to feel at peace with the world, but I am now a townie.xx🐝🐝🐝
@@joyofthings as time has gone on,thankfully there’s more on the doorstep and of course home delivery which I use regularly. It did have its pitfalls years back,I have a few memories of the tough times in winter- having to resort to getting milk from a farm just a dozen houses above in the village. To be out yonder needs health fitness and age- however and I do repeat myself- ho,e delivery has proved essential when unable to travel or even walk- there’s many hills and mountains around me. The feeling of peace with the world is always there- depends on your lifestyle but it is something I love and always will love. Xxx
I love your mohair yarn that will be warm and cosy, I also loved listening to you talk about the co op and cheese shops, I sometimes wish things were like that now, simpilar, you can never have too many buttons,😊❤ X
@@nannymoonscrochet Thankyou.Ive started knitting, I find it a bit hard with arthritis.My son was on about all the preservatives in foods, I said we just had a butcher, green grocer and the co op and that was it, the bakers van would deliver.I seem to go mad for buttons, think it’s nostalgia.xxxx🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

Do you remember green shield stamp's? , there was a big shop in Liverpool you could exchange the book's of stamp's for something. Mother would take me on the train with her , she would have a lot of book's filled with stamp's, and she'd come home with one item 😊. It was a lovely day out , looking at all the big shop's.

You can't have too many buttons, tales of the old countrymen, look's good. I've got a blackcurrant bush , bought it a couple of year's ago . It's the first year I've had fruit, l thought id leave it a little longer, make sure the fruit was nice and ripe , l went out yesterday and the bird's have stripped it of all fruit. Lesson learnt, use netting .

Neil and I were talking about the co-op numbers the other week he remembered his mum having a card which had a number on. Thank you for sharing as we now know why. 😊 The view from your window is just magical.🪻⚘️🌾🌻 I enjoy your waffles I love hearing about the past. Ps my dad's found some teasle growing on an abandoned piece of land near their house so we're keeping an eye on it for the seeds when they're ready ❤ xx
