How far will the Eagles go? That will will depend on whether the whole team just gives up on the coaching staff and metaphorically flies their chartered plane into the stadium, like they did last year. Their final few games last season were disappointments of epic proportion, with all fingers pointing toward Sirianni. Championships rarely sprout from divided locker rooms.
Howie Roseman has done a great job as GM the last 3 years and he needs to be rewarded with another SuperBowl on his resume. As an Eagles fan, barring injuries there are no excuses for this team to not win 13 or more games this year. Losing 2 of our coordinators hurt this team last year. But having 2 veteran coordinators will help.
Make no mistake, the Eagles are a top 5 Team in the NFL for sure! Their overall roster is perhaps the most talented in the whole league and they just added Johan Dotson no more than an hour ago! The end of their last season is a distant memory at this point. Fangio and Moore are coordinators that have the NFL experience that Johnson and DeSai where lacking last season. All they need to do is get these players on the same page to let them thrive and the Eagles WILL be Super Bowl bound again! Lets go Birds!!! 🦅🔥🦅

It might just be me, but I think with the addition of Saquon and subtraction of Kelcee, plus hurts injuries late in the season. I am a firm believer that the Eagles will rely on the tush push significantly less this year.
Never forget the NY Giants decided to draft Saquon Barkley, a Running Back at 2 instead of Josh Allen, then the following year thought "We really did need a QB so Daniel Jones"
The reason why I said at the time that drafting him will be one of the biggest overdrafts of all time, no matter how good he is. I’m glad he’s on our team, but my point stood up
Others have said it, but I think the collapse was largely due to the HORRENDOUS play calling on offense making them bland and predictable, and a defense that was either aging or simply lacked talent. Both of those should be improved a lot now thanks to the new coordinators and the new additions on defense. Big things are in the works in Philly
Moore made Dallas a competent offense. His departure has been noticeable. With Philadelphia, hopefully he’ll be able to utilize having 4 competent receiving options.
As far as Kellen Moore goes and improvement from last year, I'm just excited that we won't see the play selections we saw. Fans will forever remember against the Cardinals to put the dagger in the game Brian Johnson or Sirianni (who knows?) decided to do a designed QB run to the right, designed QB run to the right and a bubble screen to Quez on the left on 3rd and long. The days of this garbage playcalling are gone and thats all Eagles fans asked for.
I'm always for the Eagles when it comes to the NFC East, they're the team I always want winning the division - I like their vibe. That said, I am incredibly skeptical of a couple things. 1. I don't think they will have access to the tush-push without Kelce under center so RIP 1st and 9. This matters because it was used AGGRESSIVELY last year and absolutely brought them wins in an aforementioned close point differential season. 2. The defense will absolutely be better this year, because it's statistically unlikely they'd be worse, but I do think the league is starting to piece together the solutions to the Vic Fangio cover 2 D. The Chiefs, with an atrocious WR Core, showed that they had shifted their play to the underneath throws to pick apart the cover 2 D that was built to slow down the 2018 / 2019 Chiefs "f@#$ it go deep" game. 3. This is my biggest sticking point... Last year ended HORRIBLY for the birds and I just don't see how they 180 on that massive slide to end the season. I think the primary reason why, and this is probably unpopular, I just don't think Nick Siriani is a serious NFL head coach. The drama surrounding him the back half of last season plus the stories coming out of the off season, it just sounds to me like he's kind of a tool, and that's how his players view him.

Having no continuity on offense or defense play calling is a crazy risk. On top of that do you really think Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio are good hires? Ask AFC West teams what they think of Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio. The Cowboys let go of Kellen Moore and didn't drop off. In fact, Dak was in contention for MVP in the first year without him.
One way or the other this Eagles team is gonna be a spectacle, should be an entertaining season. If they collapse again it's gonna be hard to look away and the drama is gonna be endless. Anytime the Eagles try to infuse their defense with DBs through the draft it fails horribly so let's see.
Pretty big concern with OL depth. A lot relies on Behkton staying healthy and being able to transition inside. Major concerns with the DL. You can rebuild a back 7, but they have no chance if some of the young’s ones don’t step up. Hurts, we need more of 2 years ago and progress from that. Needs to look middle of the field more, work on his timing and keeping his eyes up. As an Eagles fan we hate on Dak a lot, he needs to be a lot more than empty stats at times.
2 more weeks and the regular season begins! they'll probably have 12-13 wins this year. the only bad news is that the bye week is too early and they'll play the toughest division in the NFL😬😬
Nice video! This season will honestly come down to Jalen Carter and the rest of the DLine. Jalen Carter will command double teams, leaving everyone else one on one. If the DLine can consistently win their one on ones while Carter takes on the double teams, this defense is going to be very special.
Vic was a consultant for the eagles in the 2022 super bowl run after being let go from coaching the god awful, perpetual hell of a team denver broncos. Kellen Moore was bottom 10 in scoring with the chargers and finished 4th in the afc west going 5-12 and collapsed horribly at the end of the season
How is the secondary a question? Lmfao. We got CJGJ back and we drafted not only Quinton and Cooper but we also got Isaiah playing like he never took a year off. The defense won’t be as good as the offense simply because the offense is the best in the NFL. The defense WILL be top 10 and likely even top 5.
The defense last year seemed like they had to play lights out every game as if it was the super bowl or last game of the year, give 200% effort and leave it all on the field to fight and claw to barely make it out. As easy as it is to say professional athletes should be doing that every game anyway is true but simply not sustainable. For every single game have to maintain playing above their day to day abilities just to squeak wins out and survive eventually those players will burn out and show their true floor instead of their ceiling every week. All the defense has to do to be better this year is have players with some level of sustainable talent week to week who's play is consistent instead of needing players to have the game of their career every week and I believe they achieved that this off-season
Imo the offense is going to struggle more than anyone expects. I think losing Kelce is going to be more significant than a lot of people are talking about.
I'm going to be honest, I think how they finished in the 2nd half of last year portends their 2024 season.
