Lyrics
Come with me into the trees
We'll lay on the grass and let the hours pass
Take my hand, come back to the land
Let's get away just for one day
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
Metropolis has nothing on this
You're breathing in fumes, I taste when we kiss
Take my hand, come back to the land
Where everything's ours for a few hours
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
Let me hear you make decisions without your television
Let me hear you speaking just for me
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
(Let me hear you speaking just for me)
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
(Let me hear you crying just for me)
Let me see you stripped down to the bone
(Let me hear you speaking just for me)

@@Steve86 yep you are right to long ago must correct it, thanks.
Perfection
This performance breaks me. What I would give to see this live.
2:44 - tripple voiced 'make', so good!
🔥🔥🔥
Best live version
Best version period.
For me , it seems, that he personally had more fun and feelings while singing "stripped" ,than while performing" never let..." or everything counts" .
Saw them in Miami last night. Epic. Sold out full house I wept when they played this like a girl it was so intense me are beyond incredible
2:15... Melting. Could watch Alan on loop. Those beautiful hands. 😍
Ive been a fan since 1981, and I wish Alan would come back The band is, even if their last one is great, defined as before Alan, with Alan, and after Alan. Ive never, however, noticed his hands. I guess it takes a woman for that :)
36 years ago today❤
Время скоротечно

Saw them on vacation in Pittsburgh.
One of the best concerts of my life.
This song was the highlight of the show.
I ❤ this song. 😘
Wowwww está joya!!! Su mejor versión en vivo!! 😍❤️
And this ,maybe, could have been resulted into the fact that there is no official video of the violation tour.
Voyeurism anthem !?!😮😅🎉
This awakens everything in me so raw ❤
this song is very nice and my favorite
Que genialidad ,un himno .cada vez que lo escucho se me pone la piel de gallina .

Because, maybe ,at that time , his drug use was slowly becoming rampant.
So was mine for 30 years, never stopped me doing anything though, or raising a decent family where my kids went to university and did things with their lives and it was never a secret to any of my family from the age of 19 onwards. And at 50 several i dare say i still look a lot better than my peers who spent their lives drinking. Just a quick trip to the bathroom for a dig and all is fixed and I was still one of the best at my pretty technical mechanics job. Unless you wanna be all judgemental about it, which i doubt. Trust me, heroin doesn't stop you from doing anything. What does stop you doing stuff is not having heroin. It gets long passed the point where you get high or out of it with that stuff. They also produced their best work while Dave was at the height of his addiction, and it doesn't matter whether you've been physically addicted for a week or 10 years, the withdrawals feel the same. The only reason you see average ppl go down hill on heroin is because they can't afford it so they resort to crime or prostitution or begging etc, and they stop eating right or looking after themselves and so on. But if you've got plenty of money like dave did those aren't issues. If you continue to eat well and exercise you can live to the same age as you would without it. It's only when ppl start getting desperate and sloppy and use or reuse manky needles that they get clots and other health problems. The only thing i hated about it were all the scumbags involved in the supply and the social stigma a lot of beyond reproach hypocrites like to dish out. Coleridge also wrote the ancient mariner when he was heavily addicted and keats wrote almost all his work under the influence of opiates. But no, this is not in any way an advertisement for heroin or any drugs. All I'm saying is those ppl would have produced what they did without it. I'm simply saying it wont have stopped them either.
Boss.
