- Threw a few engine codes and had to take it to the dealership. I got lucky that it was all covered under warranty. Check out the video it goes into detail what happened.

Good news story. Idling reduces oil fling to needle bearings in lifter, end result is locked lifter bearing and chewed out cam lobe. Shout out from Australia.

I have an 18 with 32k and now Im not sure I want a tune and headers, let alone a cam. Still the best daily driver IMO.

They opened it up and replaced the camshaft and lifters! I didn't think it was that serious of a problem considering that it was still running normal. Glad it was fixed for free under warranty! Happy driving brotha!

Congrats on getting her back in good working order. If you are getting the tuning done you should consider high flow cats with your exhaust set up. Between the tune for the headers and hi-flows it’s gonna feel like an AWD rocket and no check engine light ever again.
I can’t wait to get the tune! I do have high flow cats currently installed with the headers I am just waiting on the exhaust which was shipped out today actually! Thanks the info and support I appreciate it!
@@Lagolifestyle oh that’s right, my bad. Well LT’s and hi flows with a tune will be a nice gain. Get a trans tune if you can as well. Huge difference. I went the suspension route first. I have the borla atak cat back on now and a set of kooks hi flows ready to go when I line the tuning day up. I’m going with a dyno tune as opposed to a canned tune.
