Chris I just saw this one. Outstanding in every way. Your editing is so professional, this was lovely. I will have to catch up on the vids I have missed! Will have to look out for the ski version of this. You sure look like those tyres are pumped up hard! No give at all.
Those fat bikes are the ticket for riding rough trails or just plain making your own trail. Another beautifully entertaining ride Chris, I'm looking forward to the next one; until then, Happy Trails!
Beautiful country that you visited Chris, and some spectacular scenery. You certainly got off the beaten track and into the back country the advantages of having a good solid bike.No trouble finding the right camping spot in that beautiful country. Thanks for taking us on the ride Chris.
Yes, that Australian bush breeds Stoics out of us all. Cool in Aussie-land in March? Great to get that feeling of home again, ' Daave.' Those rocks and gutter-ways for paths, and on a bike!!! That's what you call " rough riding" . Sure hope the seat padding is effective. Lot of dead trees. Thanks for the video. Good luck.
Nice to see you ride somewhere we go bush walking and fishing. We fished at Pretty Valley over christmas and saw heaps of walkers head up that hill. Very popular.
That pedal strike on the rutted trails caught me out big time the first time! Seems to be a particular characteristic of trails in the snowies for some reason.
If I were in Australia I would not hesitate to accompany you. Here it is difficult to find someone who wants to leave the comforts of home for more than 12 hours.
You can get a fat tire trike for 2000 USD. Which is got full suspension really nice trikes steel frame I'm going to be ordering one next week I think it is. Just because it's more comfortable in I don't know maybe I'm kicking back in my later years haha
I grew up riding with my brother. These days alone I do ride. I'm happy to ride with other people if it's the right time and place. I need to work before I can do another tour for now.
Do you need a new bike cant you fit fats on yr old bike? Great video, you ve upped your standard! Do you edit the pan and zoom in later? Hell of a rough track. Always an inspiration.
Thanks. The max the koga could do was 2.4 inches. I'm running 4 inches now. Also disc brakes and a 26 42 really low gear. Yes the pan crop is done in the edit after in Sony Vegas pro 15. Rough but fun.
@@ChrisRishworth I thought as much. Just wanted to be sure... Do you mind if we share some of your videos on our social media? facebook.com/MuruCycles/
@@ChrisRishworth Very nice. Titanium was the frame material I was thinking of not stainless steel which would be far too heavy. Why did I write stainless steel? Doh! You must do a review of it soon.
no one kows how much is gloureous and amazing and healthy only the one how try traveling by bike! actualy am going to set up an electric fat bike if my health come back and i hope find a brave group for travelin because in morocco people not very interested to that and ilove to sleep in tent
Was just gonna make a spicy comment on how to best destroy your tour bike no worries - but then I realized you were on the fat bike and all was good, however messy it looked...:-)

Thanks Craig. Yes maybe they could have been deflated some. Just don't like wasting effort.
you always show so much of Australia. thank you.. there is not enough of the back country there on tv or youtube.. thank you.
Thanks. It's fun showing parts of Australia that most people never see.

Looks like you found a new world to play in. Got to be a big change from the land train. Thank you sharing the possibility of a your new set up.
Thanks. Yes lots of new possibilities.
Nice to see you ride somewhere we go bush walking and fishing. We fished at Pretty Valley over christmas and saw heaps of walkers head up that hill. Very popular.
Such a nice area. I have bushwalked up there and skied lots there. First time fat biking there.

Deep wheel ruts. Do make riding hard to say the least.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing Chris. From cccccold Canada. (Henry)
Thanks Henry. Still nice & warm here for now.

Keep riding until you can't ride no more is my saying. Enjoy.
Do you always ride alone Chris? Love to do some trails with you.

@@ChrisRishworth looks Amazing
awesome video Chris. Can I ask what brand of bike it is?
It's a Muru full titanium Witjira trail.

Hi Chris, great vid mate. What’s your chainring/cassette set up on this beast? Cheers
What no Rohloff?
Looks like a stainless steel frame perhaps Van Nicholas?
Tyres don't seem that fat, not 4.8 inch fat. But maybe I'm wrong.
Yes no Rolhoff but very low gear 26 42. It's a Muru full titanium 4 inch tyres. It can run 4.4 as is or 4.8 with a Rolhoff.

I will do a review on the Muru need a few more kms to know the bike. For all of the good and bad.
Goodonyah Chris, thanks for the tagalong.
