I remember as a 15 yr old boy (I'm 75 now) that one summer Bob Echols brought a Stamps-Baxter school to my home town of Slaton. This was one of the songs we learned and I have loved the bass voice ever since. I once told my dentist I would give my eye teeth and a bunch of money if I could sing bass like this. That dentist one day took all my teeth and all my money - and I still can't sing bass.
I do, however, play upright bass fiddle. Anyway, thanks for posting.
It's nice to listen to this kind of music. If you're a christian you'll appreciate this kind of music or songs

Thanks for the video, I could spend the day enjoying this music.I might put together a blue greass gospel singing. I have some land that would be great to have camp meeting.The last concert we had in Knoxville was several years ago, JD and his group the stamps, JD next to his last before he went home.My good friend Conrad Cook also went home. So we have not put together one in a while.

this is a very beautiful song in fact all of Doyle Lawson's songs are very heart warming.
