What is the difference between Instant Recovery and Entire Virtual Machine Recovery? What would be the use cases of using each option?
Hi there and thanks for watching! Just to ensure we clarify "Instance" versus "Instant:" "Instance Recovery" would align more to a SQL database or such. "Entire VM Recovery" is fully bringing back the entire VM image from the backup storage to the production storage; then powering it on to complete the recovery. Also available is "Instant Recovery," which will run the system from the backup storage; and then once it is running move the storage back to production storage in the background. I have done failover to the DR vm and currently running service for 5 days now. Now I would like to restore the DR VM current state to our production. How do I achieve that?
