So King Cold did have a soft spot afterall. He wasnt always ruthless, and he really loved Nova and sought too protect her. But as time grew and they had kids he wanted them too become his successor and rule his Empire, So he became futile and hardened his heart in thirst for power and world domination

Mr DUDE I don’t see it that way I see him as sort of giving tough love it seems to me he still loves her and he wants to retire to be with her the only issue is he needs a successor so he can’t be nice and people can’t see weakness in his old age
Crazy how there’s this much backstory and lore, but then you realize that in actuality Freeza and King Cold were killed almost effortlessly by a 17 year old half saiyan with not much knowledge on who they were lol

Nova and Cold's love story is so beautiful but also so incredibly twisted. She was taught to be completely submissive and not herself, but then came Cold who actually allowed her to show her individuality...
But it's still not a good relationship, Nova still had no say in who she wanted to be with, arranged to marry a most likely older male who while was better to her than anyone before, still treated her like his property to some degree and that would only be more evident as years passed and he got what he wanted....it's really bizarre.
King cold was so kind and frieza when he was young and they both over time turned angry... well moody. Funny how cooler wasn’t born as kind as cold and frieza and always was moody. I find it very interesting

You could make a story about elder Freeza conquering planets and recruiting his army also make the story of Zarbon and Dodoria
Watching this after reading the most recent issues really is heartbreaking, Cold really seemed to genuinely care for Nova and rescued her from her abusive family 😢😢😢 (I won’t spoil it, go read it yourself whosoever-is-reading this, and bring tissues for the tears!)

such a great fan comic its honestly good enough to be the official canon story of young Frieza and his family id say it makes sense (mostly) and is emotional and fits in with everything that we know about Frieza. The voice acting is quite good as well I would definetly buy a movie of this whole story if it were ever released (hopefully) Frieza always has been my favorite villain I always kind of hoped that goku would turn him into a ally as well just like yamcha/tien/Piccolo/vegeta/beerus although I understand how that would be a tall order
I was never into dragon ball but been watching on RUclips clips here n there n saw some to catch up on things I didn’t know instead of watching the shows this by far is what I need more to fucking see!! I’m not a die hard fan but the lore is great! And this is what I need more of!! Make part 4!
