try the heatless curls method. and use a serum (if u dont have one get a pea size amount of coconut oil and mix with water then apply to hair, u add the water so it's not oily and this gets rid of all frizz). use a bonnet it helps SOOO much. also for voluminous and "up" roots i would recomend u put a claw clip there when its wet (search it up) good luck!!

You also need to “train” your hair. If your hair gets greasy like the next day or even the day after washing it, you’re washing it way too often. If you let your hair go for a couple of days longer than usual before washing it will eventually stop getting oily so quick. Plus the natural oils your scalp produce are actually good for your hair 😊
Hair training is a myth unfortunately. All different types of hair are different, some need to wash everyday ,while others need less or it’s low maintenance hair .

It improves hair growth and reduses Dandruff! Personally for the oil if you go to you local Asian market, you can find various Oils (that are Indiana and Pakistani) which I use to mix up together to run in my scalp. Also I be wearing it with braids to my school :)

The rest of your hair needs moisture like hair mask once a month and leave in spray (not cream) after every shower and maybe use whenever you feel like it (i use it to style sometimes because my hair is quite curly). Follow @chriswenzel he explained very easy and I’ve seed results very fast. If you use this products in addition to your shampoos and conditioner, you’ll have a healthy hair. No need for fancy things.
