CHAT (Chico Housing Action Team): From a Dream to Housing Hundreds of Homeless Folks (short version)

Concerned citizens everywhere want to put an end to the horrible plight of homelessness. But how to materialize efficient help in the face of such insurmountable odds? In just 10 short years, the Chico (CA)-based CHAT organization has managed to pull about 400 people from the street, at first with only volunteers. How did they accomplish that ?!?
