    Guys, I think I’m under spiritual attack! *Please pray for me!* 😭
    Yesterday alone, I was scared for my life TWICE! The first time was when I was waiting for the bus after work, and a man was following me and then cornering me. He told me he loved my hair, and even touched my arm! I was able to get away when the bus finally arrived. But when I was IN that bus, another man decided to sit directly behind me in a bus that was already mostly empty. I started to smell a strong smell of cigarettes , and then I suddenly saw a literal cigarette ON MY SHOULDER! When I turned my face to look, the man’s face was next to my face and he was looking at me like he wanted to eat me for dinner. I was terrified! I jumped up and got out of the bus, but not before I managed to get a picture of the man. And even when I got off the bus, the man was staring at me through the window with these evil eyes…
    I’m constantly having these really strange experiences where I feel unsafe. Please pray for me!

      Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee. James 4:7
      Make very sure you don't have doors open to inviting them in, primarily sex outside of marriage, any substances (alcohol, drugs, prescription or not) and any occult/new age practices. (Chakras, yoga, meditation, crystals, astrology, etc). Those are the sins that open the doors wide. Keep yourself in His word and in prayer.

      Virtually ALL of modern Christianity serves the RCC.
      It is the Romans who replaced the Sabbath with Sunday, replaced Passover with Ishtar and replaced Sukkot with Christmas.
      Observing those things is obedience to the RCC, and NOT the Almighty.
      Nowhere in the Bible is there an instruction to replace the Feasts of YHVH with renamed pagan fertility rituals.
      In fact, we are warned to NOT do what the pagans do to serve their gods and do it as unto YHVH.
      He calls that an abomination.
      The one we obey is the one we serve. Romans 6:15-16
      Modern Christianity is neck deep in the Babylonian system.

Can anybody explain to me why I didn't hear going in prayer and asking Jesus Christ to reveal what His Word meant by way of the Holy Spirit before one starts reading? That should be the number 1 action taken before anything else. Without doing so will result to an understanding of the Word through traditions (rules by man) of men. What scripture does command is this: Study to show thyself approved of God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15...... Charles H. Spurgeon wrote: " Dig into scripture as a miner digging for gold!" Then this phrase " rightly dividing " is the Greek word " Orthotomēo " meaning to disect perfectly the word of truth to line oneself up perfectly in that truth!

    The best way to read the Bible is to let the Holy Spirit teach you as you go. I feel like a lot of people are so against looking into deep hidden truths and such in favor of the version of literal, but yes, it is literally BUT there are also deeper hidden truths. The Bible, in my experience, reads layered like a layered onion, each line can have different yet still correct truths depending on the perspective of the reader. It has truth for people back in the days of Jesus, and also to people in this day, to different races, denominations, ages and genders, all people can gain valuable information. Holy Spirit loves to point out these seemingly random parts in the Bible, in a sort of ‘look deeper’ and then low and behold the thing ties in with something elsewhere in the Bible and piece together like a puzzle showing a whole new picture.
    Jesus spoke in parables specifically so the ones who can dig deeper and see the hidden messages and truths would learn and those who stubbornly refuse to look being the first layer go without. It’s why he always says to those with ears to hear and eyes to see. It doesn’t mean literally people who aren’t deaf or blind, it means those with the perspective and awareness to understand the depth of the parables. The language of God is very symbolic, why a main mode of communicating is by dreams and visions. If you only take symbology as literal (it can be literal and not together), you’ll only see a fraction of the truth it holds. It’s why Daniel was so important a story, he looked deeper with God into the symbology of the king’s dreams, but if the king had taken it only literally, he’d not have been aware of what it meant. The Bible works in a similar way. So if the Holy Spirit nudges you to look deeper into something, then do so.

    Many people today read the concept of a structured "worship service" into the New Testament where it simply doesn’t exist. The early church gatherings, as described in Scripture, were focused on fellowship, teaching, prayer, and mutual encouragement (Acts 2:42). Nowhere in the New Testament do we see a formalized, ritualistic service with a professional clergy leading a congregation in a rigid order of worship.
    The modern concept of a "worship service" with set programs, sermons, and music isn't found in the early church model. Instead, gatherings were organic, often taking place in homes, where believers shared meals, prayed, and encouraged one another. The emphasis was on participation and mutual edification, as seen in 1 Corinthians 14:26 where Paul speaks of everyone bringing a hymn, teaching, or revelation to build up the body.
    To insert a formal worship service into the New Testament is to misunderstand the freedom and simplicity of early Christian gatherings. The focus wasn’t on ritual but on living out the gospel together in community, and encouraging one another in love and good works.

      2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
      3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
      5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
      6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
      7¶But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
      8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
      9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
      10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
      11¶And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
      12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
      13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
      14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
      15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
      16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

      Pastors, teachers, leaders of all sides are prone to sin .It is so much more glaring when a Calvinist sins like Lawson did. The reason being is that they are so condescending. I know, I was a Reformed, Orthodox Presbyterian, Calvinist for 57 years. We all idolized different past and current pillars in the faith. From Calvin, Knox, and Machen, to Sproul, McArthur, Bauchman, & Washer. We all quoted or used their sayings in our sermons, theology, and doctrinal conversations.
      I suspect that Reformed Baptists, and PCA folk had their own mini circle of idols like we OPCers did. Heck, I loved Piper's books, I listened to Begg for years. B.B. Warfield, Ferguson, Ryken, Horton, Beeke, & Boice were all great influences.
      The problem began with these Reformed Conferences the various camps started. Many of these men stopped being preachers/shepherds and became Reformed Rock Stars. White, Lawson, Washer, McArthur, and to some extent Sproul began to believe and relish this status.
      There is something fundamentally wrong with a doctrine and by extension a local church that allows something like Lawson's sin go on for five plus years. When Pastors are away from their churches at 2-4 day conferences as much as 3-4 times per year, there is no real accountability. "Things" begin to be neglected, wife, children, grandchildren, flock, God, etc.
      The elders of Lawson's church should have seen something, there is no way that Lawson could not have shown something to indicate what he was involved in.
      Calvinism has done more harm to the Church than anything else besides Roman Catholicism.
      The reason I grieve for Lawson and his ilk, is because he has a form of godliness but denies it's power.
      2 Tim. 3:1-9 sums up this current situation. Lawson regularly was a boaster, proud, unloving, unforgiving, a slanderer, obviously did not have self-control, was head-strong, and obviously a lover of pleasure.
      Unfortunately, Calvinist's resist the truth, 2 Tim 3:8, thus are disapproved concerning the faith. Verse 9 tells us that these men will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was (Jannes & Jambres).
      I have watched countless videos of Reformed men and women commenting on Lawson. None of them have used Scripture to rebuke Lawson. They all have used the Scriptures to restore him. Yes, he can be forgiven and hopefully he will repent. That is important to his future.

    Is it just me or does anyone else fall asleep with people that speak like this. I honestly had a hard time even keeping up with what he was saying however I’m sure there are people that got something out of this. I think reading the Bible period is better than not. I do think that taking the Bible literally is great. I also think that the spirit speaks to us through the word and is very relevant in our day to day life through scriptures in an unconventional way, just like Jesus explained many times the meaning of what he was saying to his disciples God also communicates with us one on one, through the Holy Spirit, in a way we understand him and that could be different for everyone. Kind of like reading a Bible verse a second time then getting different revelations about it each time. Keep reading your Bible and strive to connect with Jesus through the word of God!

    I really don't know what to think about this. I'm hearing so much about a strict "context" type of reading. While I agree you should read in context there are too many things where that type of reading / interpretation will make things dry I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'll give an example by giving a Scripture and a quote from Robert Hawker. I'm not here to push my thoughts or even Hawker's thoughts. All I'm trying to do is show a type of reading.
    Scripture:
    Gen 43:8 And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.
    Gen 43:9 I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:
    Quote from Hawker:
    "I detain the Reader to remark the character here assumed by Judah as a surety, in which he was an eminent type of JESUS. It was JESUS, who from everlasting undertook to answer for his people. And in this great office he hath fulfilled all righteousness, and expired all offences and is new pledged, (as Judah said here), to bring all his people and set them before his father. Sweetly is it said of him that he restored that which he took not away. Psa_69:4."
    When we read all these stories in the OT, what are we looking for? Just history? Or does the whole Bible talk about Jesus? Are these truths "hidden"? They are. But not in a secret society type of way. It's Spiritual. What Judah said came from Judah's mouth...but it meant more than what Judah thought to mean: those words are a type of "voice" of Jesus...you can hear Jesus in those words! Read the Psalms. So many of them you can hear Jesus. Read Psalm 22:
    Psa 22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
    Psa 22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
    All the Pharasees (bulls of Bashan) surrounding Jesus. It goes on and on.

    For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
    16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
    20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21

      No. It is Returning to the Laws of Moses (Acts 15) that were nailed to the Cross (Colossians 2) and Re-Crucifying Christ Anew (Hebrews 10), it is *extremely* Dangerous!
      We are to give what we chose to, Cheerfully, and without mandate, if a "church" mandates you give, then they are Judaizing, and mostly likely teaching the false "prosperity" gospel, you need to Flee from that "church" and Fast as a Result!

    • @BatMite19
      @BatMite19 Месяц назад +6

      @rudolphferdinand3634 I'll bite. We talk about the "moral" law, as opposed to the "civil" and "ceremonial" law. We take Jesus' words in Matthew 5;17 to mean that while Jesus fulfilled the whole law, and thus the civil and ceremonial aspects need not carry into different nations in the post-resurrection world, the moral concepts remain.
      Tithing, literally giving one tenth of the output of one's labors, was a civil concept. It was for the people of Israel. It was their tax system. Thus, Christian do not need to tithe.
      However -- Christians *do* still need to give! The question is -- how much?
      Jesus commended the woman (Mark 12:41-44) who, although she only gave two pennies, gave "all that she owned." Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that God loves a "cheerful giver." and that giving should not be "under compulsion (i.e., under the law)," but from the heart.
      Finally, Jesus said in Matthew 5:20 that our righteousness must *exceed* that of the Scribes and the Pharisees; and we know that the Pharisees kept the letter of the law, and thus were legalistically tithing.
      I conclude from all of that, that tithing is not for the Christian, but that a Christian should give all that he can, sacrificially, and should not stop at 10% and check the box. For some, even 10% is an unreachable goal; but our goal should be to give as much as we can, and not set 10% as "never more than."

      We are to give according as we ourselves are being prospered by God through what we receive. Time can be considered as giving, especially to serve others, serve the church of God, not all neccesarity money. Being ruled over by those who are more of the spirits of the Fallen world, The Old Testament are testimonials of his followers in what they went through as being subjugated to wicked ruler ship and what GOD did for his people in troubling matters from those who believed in HIM. (along with the genealogy) The relationship with Christ, God the Father in Heaven; After applying the flood and eliminating many (wicked) lives, God created his SON Jesus (who by the way is God) to reteach humanity in what HE desires from us as God became more Merciful during the New Testament Times compared to how it was during the Old Testament period.
    The bible to me is not only a LOVE STORY from God to his people, but also a Book of Mentorship.
    Reality of the Here and Now: Who applies the most troubles to my life? The Male gender...in reference to 1) wealth 2) privilege and 3) Freedom. A lot of them (as well as some women) have developed into these three main areas of Psychology: 1) Narcissism 2) Despotism and 3) Nepotism.
    Also, both sides; the family of God and the family line of the DEVIL are depicting these behaviors toward each other the most; 1) Jealousy 2) Greed and 3) Selfishness. No wonder I have been solo since 2006. I thank God as having exposed myself to the teachings of Christ beginning at the age of 8 and HIM giving me higher Comprehension about the wickedness and secret plans from all those who's souls are filled more with the spirits of the Anti-Christ.
    In summary, as in reference to committed relationships; Human beings have increased in wickedness due to rotten influence from those of High Places, parents, friends, teachers, etc; I had to learn the hard way, but at least I learned and have a clearer understanding in why God says what he says. What God secretly reveals to me, a lot do not know, but this truth I KNOW from personal experience living among wicked human beings; A lot of humanity HATE GOD and sadly enough FOR NO JUST REASON. Testimonials: "Children of Disobedience" and then there is THEIR TYPE OF PSYCHOLOGY to the leading of DIVISIONS and increase of wars and all the rest of adverse behaviors that God mentions in the books of the New Testament.

    Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
    2 Peter 2:20-21
    Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosphy and empty deceit according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of this world and not according to Christ.
    2 Colossians 2:8
    All Scripture is given by interpretation of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

    When it comes to gematria and Torah code.... those are actually real things. They don't change the written words, but they confirm them, and link them, and point. The fact that they exist is evidence of a supreme intelligent design authorship of the Bible. Considering the bibles many authors, thousands of years, and yet the books of the Bible are connected not just in the Hebrew, but even in the Greek, by code and mathematics. 666. 153. 70. 7. 12. and prime numbers, all these numbers have meaning in gematria. They convey a deeper understanding. And now as was prophesied, these truths "open the books" in the end times..... revealing what was hidden. There is a command in the Bible that the Hebrew people were not to change one letter... .the smallest letter! Doing so would have made the code broken, and destroyed Gods PERFECT work. the Bible is heavily coded.

      Gematria is a practice of Jewish mysticism particularly in Kabbalah. In fact, gematria is a key component of Kabbalistic thought and is often used in conjunction with other Kabbalistic practices, such as meditation, prayer, and study of sacred texts.
      Do you have an example where Yeshua=Jesus used and taught of this practice?

      As for flaws in "the Bible" it depends on what "the Bible" you're referring to. I don't think the flaws should make one an atheist but they do tend to make people lose confidence in the Bible being the infallible Word of God.

    Deut 4:2 (KJV) and Rev 22:18-19 (KJV) tell us there can be only one preserved Word of God. And yet version after version is spewed out to deceive.
    There is not a power that is not given by God. Through providence God raised up the most powerful nation there ever was or will be, the U.S.A., and in its infancy it was given the preserved word of God; “Robert Aitken, a Philadelphia printer, was the first to publish the first American edition of the K.J.V. New Testament in 1781 and the K.J.V. Old Testament in 1782, omitting the Apocrypha. On completion, he petitioned and received from the Congress of the Confederation, an official endorsement that Aitken added to the binding of his Bibles, to assure colonists that they were buying a non-royalist edition: “Resolved, that the United States in Congress assembled… recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States and hereby authorize him to publish this recommendation.” As a result, the Aitken Bible (KJV) is often referred to as “The Bible (KJV) of the Revolution.”
    The nation was given the KJV, not the dead sea scrolls, not the book of Enoch, not Hebrew books etc. but only the KJV. If God wanted us to understand his word in Hebrew he would have raised this nation up speaking Hebrew. Back in the 1600’s God saw to it that the certain scriptures were translated into English “KJ Bible” and was put into print so that all could read for themselves the truth that in in the scriptures. God did this because he knew that he would bring about this powerful nation [U.S.A. and the English language] of ours to lead the world. The scriptures were written by apostles and prophets inspired by God through the Holy Ghost. The compilation and translation to English was also done by the direction of God through the Holy Ghost and he did not make any mistakes, i.e., the fourth horse being “pale” was no mistake, the horse is not green.
    In Greek mythology, the name Chloris (Khloris Χλωρίς, from khloros χλωρός, meaning “greenish-yellow,” “pale green,” “pale,” “pallid” or “fresh”) appears…
    Pallid 1. pale; faint or deficient in color; wan: a pallid countenance.
    People say that they believe that scripture was written by the direction of God and the Holy Ghost, which is true. But what you people don’t seem to realize is that the compilation and translation of the bible (KJV) was also done by the direction of God and the Holy Ghost. If the bible (KJV) was written and compiled by men of opinion and perspective and translated by incompetent translators then you might as well throw it in the trash. The prophets were told what to write and how to write it, 2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV)
    The nation was given the symbol of the Eagle, 37 … Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. Luke 17:37 (KJV), the body being the Church, the body of Christ. The nation has the motto and preamble “in God we trust” and “one nation under God”. This greatest and most powerful nation the U.S.A., has been given the last and best chance to lead the world to heaven on earth or destruction. But like all other nations of power before it (symbolic Israels, Rev 11:8 (KJV)) the U.S. has chosen destruction and is now the great “liar” saying “in God we trust” and “one nation under God”, it is now the conglomerate of the dragon, beast, false prophet, and harlot, it is Satan loosed from the pit, 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
    8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth Rev 20:7-8 (KJV).
    And yet no one seems to know of or speak of a very clear fulfillment of prophecy in our recent history. We (U.S.A.) are the ones who brought down fire from heaven in Aug. of 1945 and we are the ones that gave life to the image of the beast in May of 1948. Rev.13:13-15 (KJV).
    All glory to God. Amen

      You mean the totally unnecessary version when we already had the more accurate Geneva Bible? You mean the version commissioned by the homosexual king who didn't like the condemning language of the Geneva Bible? You mean the version that can't make up its mind as to what kind of translation and interpretation it's going for? And yes, EVERY translation is also an interpretation, because the complexity of the original languages demands it -- that and words and phrases that are nearly impossible to understand outside knowledge of the language itself and the historical context. Sheesh KJVO folks are hilarious. I use KJV as well as NKJV and sometimes ESV and the original NIV. Please tell me what doctrines in which I'm deficient. All versions tell us that there are three heavens, so which was created in Gen. 1:1, was it one heaven or multiple heavens?

But even that is not necessary for God since, before the creation, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are, and yet occupy neither time nor space, as both of these are creations. Therefore even the third heaven was created to house the angelic beings. So much for your complaint, eh?
