I've read the entire Manhwa and so far, the character design and the story are pretty much on point and i'm really glad they kept the original Korean names. You're gonna love this !
tbf there is a concept called dungeon break, and if they DO leave it alone, whatever is in it is gonna get out, potentially killing millions of civilians because conventional weaponry like guns and bombs don’t do sh*t to the dungeon monsters
Some people might think this is a pretty overly done genre, but this story was one of the ogs that did it well, part of what made this genre popular in manhwas

That's actually surprising to hear. Any time I've heard someone say they've read solo leveling it's always been a gateway manhwa and they start reading a lot more of them. Why'd you decide to not read any afterwards assuming you liked it?
It was a great start for real as someone who has read 60 chapters(cause am lazy at reading sometimes) it was great animation was amazing so far and Angelo my man you ain't ready for what is next. As always love the content and energy

This is a huge sequence to explain the initial basis for why Sun Jim Woo becomes the one "alone that levels". IIRC, it takes up the entire first volume of the manhua. The entire sequence, including the immediate aftermath, should take two more episodes.

What I like about this world so far, is that some people are sensible to red flags, but not in a "meta-breaking" way. Even if the world revolves around ranks and raids and dungeons, the characters don't go spouting off quips like "Oh if this was a game, it'd go like this 🤔". It's grounded and takes itself seriously.
my friends told me about this series like 5 years ago that i should check the manwa but i never got to it. glad it got a series. now i can watch the animation. this series has people reading that dont even like manga so it should be fire
The story really start off very heavy and thrilling. To show the audience how dangerous the creatures are. I really wish they don't mess up the iconic smile. 😂 ARISE!
