I don't know how many times I listened to Ebon Coast, how many times I played it myself, how many versions of this song I listened. But THIS is without a doubt the best version of this song for me. I think Petteri understood perfectly how the music should be played, and Andy felt it. I don't really like the version with Don Ross, too many notes for me. :/

Petterisariola, how the hell do you get that low end?
It's all about the EQ, cut out plastic sounding and harsh mids and fiddle in a strong boost around 60Hz. Works like a charm! :) There's a detailed rig rundown on my website for more info.
