I have played terrairia for a couple hundred hours and wanted to give some tips. i recommend changing the shackle out for something like a shark tooth necklace witch you can get from bloodmoons. Also try to get the nights edge with is a very strong sword that you can get from crafting together the murramassa, the fiery grate sword, the blood butcher, and the sword from the jungle (I forgot the name). 3rd tip use potions like iron skin, regeneration, and swiftness they can be a game changer in fights. last tip i recommend making arenas for bosses witch are just long platforms stacked on each other with 5 blocks of free space in between. i hope this helps and sorry for spelling mistakes if there are any.
also i have another tip that i just remembered you can turn your speture boots in to lightning boots. they need an aglet and an anklet found in the jungle.
Don't forget, lava always leak to somewhere so if you see an endless flowing lava, it won't damage you because it's just an animation, just like that lava in that structure

That's because that demon had a voodoo doll and it dropped when you killed it, stright into lava, which is how you summon him. Your probably ready to advance into hard mode, i was less prepared than you are, and i beat him. What you need to do is make a huge platform and walk back and shoot him. And tim is a monty python and the holy grail easter egg.
The NPCs can take a while to spawn in new locations. Might take an in-game day or so. They will not spawn when you're in the area though, so don't hang around your new base too much.
You are now ready for wall of flesh just fist make the molten pick and make a really long runway in hell and use the mini shark for far range and your main weapon

a little tip you can pass through flowing lava without taking damage its only the other type of lava that you take damage from
You ahould do a hardcore Terraria letsplay/series thing.
As you can see you take damage from the lava whose upper layer is orange not yellow

sometimes its faster to re-route nearby water to lava by mining instead of using buckets

If a guide voodoo doll drops in to lava it will spawn in the wall of flesh

If u want to know what u use to be resistant to lava in pre hard mode use iron skin potions
Obsidian + fireblossom + waterleaf +bottledwater at a alchemist station means obsidian skin potion or fire resistant just like the game minecraft

it is underground
Your yoyo had normal reach you have to put your items on the other slots to work
You could farm for cellphone and Terraspark Boots, requires patience but definitely worth it.

You should make a expert/mastermode playthrough(probably expert)
You should remove the table/workshop or whatever from your room then other NPCs can't make that their room
in hardmode you need to choose a class
