Elliott Smith is sooo good. I remember just laying in the park under leaves and listening to him b/c I didn't want to go home and it was some of my happiest moments.
Most mornings I wake up with an elliot song in my head and it has to be part of my day then whatever emotion I'm dealing with mostly alone helps me not to over think life
When I decided to kill myself, I took a bus to the bad part of town where they sell heroin on the street. I tried to buy 60 dollars worth of heroin but the dealer only had 50 dollars worth so i told him to keep the change since i wouldn't be needing it. After that I went into a nearby ally. I didn't have any syringes so I picked up a used one off the ground because what did it matter anyway. I told myself "well this is how you die I guess. Alone in an ally in a strange town far from home." After I did the shot and i sat "lying there waiting for sleep to overtake me" I realized the heroin was fake. I didn't even have money to get home on the bus so I had to walk back four miles. So when Elliot says "you spent everything you had, wanted everything to stop that bad." it has a very deep, painful and personal meaning to me.
Anyway things are a lot better for me now and I'm glad that dude ripped me off. If you feel suicidal just know that one day things can get better. They did for me.

My friend just sent this to me because I'm going through a rough time. Never has a somber song made me feel so good. Better.
That's great. Elliott Smith said that a lot of his songs are depressing because they flowed out of him when he was depressed and that was how he worked through his feelings. It made him feel better to write the songs.
I wish I was more open to Elliot when I was younger. It would have helped me a lot. But I’m 30 now. Better late then never.
Just know that no matter what you’re going through, you can always make things better. Usually, it’s not really something that you can just will into existence. It’s a slow, painful, uphill battle. You’re going to fall down a lot.
All you need to worry yourself with is getting back up.

This is taking me back to early 2000.s. When everything felt hopeless. When i listening too it today i cry.. i for all people who feels life is sad and feels no hope. Never give up. Life is great for me at the moment😊

Ive hidden my extremely lonely, depressed,stressed, social anxiety and a embarrassing habit (it made me lie so i wont get caught) i developed to cope when im overthinking so much it hurts when im alone. I gave up on myself and i thought i was born to be miserable so others can be happy. I finally fell in love with the most amazing girl but i was a bit scared at first. She should me it possible and filled my heart but my mind was still damaged. My terrible habit eventually broke us apart. I feel so dead because i saw the rest of my life with her but i know now i have to stop the habit take responsibility of myself and grow away from my demons. I hope ill get to see her again and hopefully rebuild out relationship because it will work once im the healed me. Hope she takes care of herself and heals too. I love you

The latest biggest lie, that was told on me recently. My mother pulled a knife on me twice this year. After trying to attack me while she was drunk. She told everyone she gave me $2,000.00 to move in my new house. Which was the latest biggest lie. I worked my ass off for an ungrateful company to pay for my own house. And put up with tons of mistreatment to do it. That's just one of the biggest lies told on me. The list is very very long. She took my hard work and achievements and distorted it within seconds. I bet y'all wondering why my mother is attacking me. Because she's in love with the men, who are in love with me. Yup whoop there it is. And that seems to be a problem seeing I don't have relations with any of them. There seems to be a lot of these women's problems with me. And don't get on here telling me wtf to talk about just move your ass on. Cause if you weren't being nosey you wouldn't even be ova here. That was on my mind, so I said it.
