If you have researched your symptoms and narrowed it down to possibly being M.S. ask for a spinal tap to 100% know right away. Some people go 10 plus years before they can be diagnosed accurately.. I was diagnosed within 3 weeks of what I thought was a pinched nerve in my lower back that also included random incontinence loss of 75% strength in right and and left leg along with numbness like a foot waking back up on my left side of my body with novocaine equal numbness perfectly down my left part of my body forehead to toes. Never sick my entire life other than getting shingles at 15 which took me 2 weeks before I brought it up. That and also getting the Anthrax Vaccine at 17 in the Army.

even if you check early,it will deteriorate and leave to foot drop

M S needs a lot of money for treatment and not covered by medical insurance companies
